| Reider, I have a question! I'm not sure if I've asked you this before or not, I can't remember and I don't feel like going over the old posts! I don't really care why, but I'm just curious; why do you dislike the Montreal Canadiens so much?

| mainly because i hate listning to all the habs fans who go around gloating about how great they are or were and they cant name a handfull of players on the team.they still think dryden plays in net and believeu is the captain.some political reasons that i would rather we not get into.do you know the people who are born in pq are better than the rest of us canadians.being called the montreal canadiens is an insult to the rest of us canadians if you ask me.these are the same people who want to seperate from the rest of canada because they are what they call a distinct society.i know you are going to say there are people in nl who say the same thing but not me iam a proud canadian.and i said i was going to get into it. didnt they take a vote on it to seperate with the no vote just edging out the the yes by a small margin.they want to be a soverign province if they want to leave make them go all the way.just my opinion.hope i didnt ruffle anybodys feathers with these comments.

| Consider my feathers ruffled beyond regognition! Just kidding! One thing I have never done is mix politics and sports! I don't think the people in Quebec had even considered separating until polititions started putting these crazy ideas in their heads! Thank God they didn't brain wash enough of them to separate! The way I look at it, every French-Canadian player who has represented team Canada in international play has done so proudly! Listen to the fans at the Bell Center cheer like crazy for the Canadian anthem! I have heard the fans there boo the American anthem, but never the Canadian one! I don't know about you, but that's good enough for me! Same thing when they played in the Forum! Any time team Canada has played in the Forum or Bell Center, the crowd has always been 100 percent behind them! It's all the polititions, Reider! Do you mean to tell me that's not Dryden that's been playing? I think it was.....oh, wait a second! Ken retired? lol

| the last time i heard anything on dryden he was a member of the house or an mp i think they are called for some riding in the toronto area.met dryden at a blue and white game they held at mile one just after 9/11 just shook hands he was on his way for an interview with a local station.

| I met Ken Dryden way back in '85 when I was involved with youth employment, I was really young at the time! A bunch of us had our picture taken with him and chatted! Very intelligent but very easy to talk to!
