| Yes it's true, da big "MACHINE", came through again tonite and pulled off another shoot-out win , thanks to S/O goals by Frape#2 and Aaron and a great backstopping perfomance by Brian Ronayne.
This win wasn't ordinary as da" MACHINE" was missing da CEL top scorer DTK, sharpshooters, Pond_Pat and Rod Walsh, da veteran leadership of Craig and Sean Sully, and goalie Frape #1.
Ronnie's kids skated hard all night and controlled much of da play. They even took da lead with less than 2 minutes left and thought it was all sewed up but da "MACHINE" didn't panic because only 4 seconds later, Steven Gollop reminded them that we are da "MACHINE" and we never quit.
So I guess da "MACHINE" is defintely public enemy # 1 and everyone wants to be da 1st to beat us, but da Rebels had their best chance tonite and couldn't finish. Suck it up and stand to da side of da tracks because this "MIGHTY MACHINE" is rolling out of control and can't be held responsible for it's damage.
I didn't stay around to see da end of game #2 but I'm dure Big Phil will get everyone updated.

| Well, the Mighty Machine had better start using less exclaimation marks and have a scatter glace over their shoulders as the Lightning won their second in a row, defeating the bullets 4-3 in an all around great game of hockey. The Lightning refrained from spending the night in the box with only one penalty in the last 30 sec of the third, which allowed them to play a solid game. With Clyde Harvey making sensational, late game saves, the bullets couldn't seem to solve Harvey after their flurry in the early minutes of the second frame.
While it is a non-issue with the Lightning, their were rumblings from other teams that the Machine crossed a line tonight with an outside pickup to fill a depleted roster. It was said outside the locker rooms by certain individuals that the so called machine have shown disrespect towards others all season, but this was truly a slap in the face.
(Note: This info was gathered from sources following the late game and in no way reflect this reporter's opinion)
Nevertheless, This guy hopes the Machine continue on their roll, because the Lightning are looking forward to being the first crack in the Machine's cylinder head.

As for da MACHINE showing disrespect to others, I haven't seen that but if you call tormenting and ribbing others disrespect, then so be it. The posts are only fun and da tormenting a competetive edge. We have earned da right to torment ,being undefeated, and are having fun with it until it ends, which could happen on any given night in da CEL.
As for da slap in da face, I guess some CEL'ers are lookin for any excuse for da sucess of da MACHINE. Although Chic was a good pick-up and played a good game, noone who knows anything about hockey can tell me that he filled da skates of our missing 5 players including league top scorer, DTK. For da record, our team tried to reach Michael Hynes first but he didn't answer da call.
So for all those out there who think we are showing disrespect, suck it up and stop bitching.I'm sure da time will come when we'll have a bad night and maybe make everyone happy.
Until then, shut your pie-holes outside da locker room and bring it on da ice.

| ok boys, i've held my tongue long enough....i dont know if yer referring to me in your comments, but it sure sounds like it....i never said anything about the green machine showing disrespect to anyone...taunting and carrying on and that stuff doesn't bother me at all....and i'd never use the term showing disrespect cuz it sounds so fuckin' gay and sounds like something someone on the DSHL forum would use, but anyway.....all i said outside the dressing rooms to Jason, and i'll certainly say it to anyone, is that i didn't agree with pickin' up Chick....and it's nothin against Chick, he's da best kind of a fella and a decent player....but, if a team is short a player or two and just shows up with whoever they like, not telling anyone else, then it could get really outta hand....what if for example we had been short and we called Stephen Oates or Sheldon O'Driscoll....i understand that ya usually don't know till the last minute if yer short players, and that sometimes ya can't get ahold of fellas who want a scatter game, like Hynes...but Gerry was there for the first game, yee could have asked him....there's usually fellas around early or fellas who will stick around and play the 2nd game

Before everyone goes and gets in a big fuckin huff about some stupid posts that we put on here for regular banter and tomfoolery(a word from your own vocabulary Capelin)lets just all relax (Yes, I know, hypocrite).
My source was not you because I did not directly discuss the issue with you outside the dressing room after we came of the ice and I never heard you say those words.Pretty cut and dry I think.
So that being said, the last post was made to get a dig at the Green fellas more so than anyone else because certain members of that team and myself have quite the banter game going, which, is all for one big fuckin laugh! So, to make things clear, it wasn't focused on the Rebels.
Personally, with relation to the topic at hand, I agree with the Capelin and can see the point some members are trying to make and I believe something should be done to correct the problem.
Like wartsy says, all these posts are in good fun,so this reporter will try and distance himself from reporting comments made that sound gay from now on.
