| Well, it is said that lightning doesn't strike the same place twice, but the Rebels are the exception to the rule. The white lightning took their 3rd win of the year and second against the rebels tonight. In what could be classified as a defensive juggerknot, the Lightning took a 1-0 victory to the bank in what was a fast, back and forth affair. With the two goalies absolutely standing on their heads, the only goal was a buzzer beater at the end of the second. Now, up until the last 27 seconds of the game, it seemed the emotion and animosity shown between these two budding rivals was subdued with only 3 minor penalties throughout the game. However, that was only a pipe dream as three ejections were the result of a heated exchange of physicality and words. It looks like this rivalry will only intensify as the season progresses. As for the second matchup, the score was 1-1 at the press time. I'm sure my collegue, Mr. Wartsy will fill us in on the action of the late game.
Thats 3 in a row for the white lightning. I think I just saw the refection of peas in the rearview mirror of The Machine!

| Well, Well, Well, I just recieved conformation that the Mighty machine has taken their first hit of the season! Congrats to the Silver Bullets and to Beans for his first win since the spring thaw! While the Lightning were looking forward to striking the machine first, we are more than happy to give the bullets their due and are now even more vigilant in the quest to topple the mighty machine!!! All that being said, Congratulations to the Martin and Marie for their impressive start to the season! What a night of Hockey!

| Yeah Big Phil, your brother stoned us in da shootout for da win. It was a great game also. We were down 5-2 and came back to lead 6-5. The bullets tied it up and John Swain scored in da last minute or so but it was called back for a slapshot, thus leading to da shootout win for the bullets. As for your guys little scrum, glad to see cooler heads prevail and a bit of policing by the linebackers of the Lightning. Just keep in mind for future that these referees are only kids and I saw that they stood back through it all. They did the right thing. They don't need to get hurt in the middle of our foolishness. So in future, if we start any shennanigans, we'll have to take care of it ourselves. As for da MACHINE'S loss, we knew it was only a matter of time but it was great run. There weren't any san faces in our dressing room after the game. GO MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| After watching the bruhaha Tuesday night, I think there are a couple of teams that are going to be tough to play against when it gets down to the nitty gritty.
