| Somewhere in the midst of a torrential rainfall, two games of hockey were played tonight.
In the first game, the Lightning continued on their winning streak making it 4 in a row. After starting off down by two, the Lightning's never say die attitude and hardwork turned the tables to win the game 6-3. Led by a Hatrick by Aaron Sullivan, the backstopping prowlness of Clyde Harvey, and the big body presence of the game winning goal scorer, the lightning are now eyeing the Machine.
In what looked to be an eventual blowout, turned into a nailbiter as the Peas squeaked out in a win in the final seconds of game. After jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the first few minutes of the game, the Peas were put on red alert as the Rebels showed that there record doesn't reflect their calibre, battling to an ending that left hearts broken.
Good to see some great hockey being played recently on Tuesday nights!
