| Well, even though I got the word that the Lightning finally struck the Machine I am disappointed that no one has taken the time to relay the post game reports in my absence. It seems like without the shannigans and repose of yours truly that their is an emptiness in the CEL. Surely there are some other colorful characters that can take the spotlight for one measely week.
There is also seems to be a lacking in good natured ribbing lately. Lets get it going again because we all know that it makes it that much more fun.

| Sorry BP but I've been away and not getting any info from the site to make any comment. Seems that without our bantering this site is a lost cause. Anyway, Wartsy is back on the rock for a stint so we'll get through it. As for you guys going undefeated, Stay off da booze BP cause u must be drunk or otherwise impaired to think that you guys can stop the MACHINE for the rest of the season. I got a good laugh out of it though.

| i think wartsy is right, big phil must have a bottle or two uner his belt. But i'm sure the chances of that happenning would be much greater if la grande philippe stayed home again. it seems they are a better team without that dirtbag back on the blue.

| Well now b'ys like a great fella once said "now thats a lie". Perhaps in times past I might have had a bottle or two under me belt in these latter days, the only thing this guy has beem sippin on is some of Tim Horton's brew! Maybe my tumble into the boards last week made me a little off centered!
My take on the outcome of the game is that The White Lighting are much like a family, A family where everybody is equal but when one of these bodies is embroiled in other noteworthy challenges, the rest of the brood strenghten their resolve on the task at in honor of the person absent. This was obvious during the 4 game winning streak.
Whereas the "Machine" is much like a 11 year old dodge shadow. Once the Cylinder Head and Transmission are gone, thats it. Done. Finished. Caput. The rest of what's under the hood is not going to pick up the slack.
So with that being said, its good to see I've peaked some interest in what was becoming a lac lustre forum.
