| Last night's contests proved to be nailbiters as all teams head into the Xmas break. First of all the Lightning continued their winning streak with a come-from-behind shootout victory. The Bullets lead most of the game but the Lightning stayed in there and squeaked out the win.
Also, last night's 2nd game proved to be a coaching duel between DTK and Sweater. Ronnies kids pulled off an upset win which is just what the doctor ordered. I guess Santa came early. It was a well deserved win as the Frape was the only reason that the game was close.
After the game there were some rumblings about the shootout contestants for the Lightning. Whether scullduggery took place or not remains to be proven but it did make for a nice conversation piece over a few beer.
Anyway congrats to the Lightning and the Rebels on last night's win. I'd like to take the opportunity to wish all CELers and their families a safe and Happy Holiday season. Don't let the Dominion run out. GO MACHINE!!!!!!

| Well Wartsy, First off I have to congratulate the little bro for carrying on a in my footsteps.
And on the topic of Sculduggery, It has been reported by league officals to me that there are no indications of a previous shootout this season with the White Lightning involved. So, put it in your scribbler, the Lightning were victorious.
Good to see the Rebels have broken their "Quiet Desperation" and have pulled down another W.
Way to go gatchers,on another great night of hockey!

P.S. Looks like the Machine soon need to get two of their wayward peas back in the pod before Wartsy and the boys turn into a thick bowl of pea soup:)

| As for the Machine, we're not panicking or even the least bit worried. We're just resting our high flyers for the spring. They'll be back when or if anyone starts challenging for the CEL scoring lead. It's all part of a master plan , much the same as last years plan. I guess we all know how that turned out.

| Wartsy b'y, we might as well be textin each other as postin on here....seems we are the only gatchers willing to try and make this site work(Except for the man, the myth, the legend, Tiger Shark who keeps the offical buisness up to date and another one or two)
