| For those that don't know USSSA (or ABA) will be changing their softballs to a mushier variety for this season. The ABA league may lag a year behind to exhaust out their current inventory. This is in my opinion good news as the speed of the ball has gotten to the point where something had to be done. Maybe I'll be more excited about pitching again.

To my teamates, I like to grip it and rip it as much as you do. Of course, I can no longer power the ball as I once did...but for an old guy I think youll all agree I can still sting it on a line pretty hard. What's good IS.... when you are in that supposed circle 52' away there is absolutely no way....NO WAY....you can defend a low shot hit back at you, below the shins. Too many pitchers are suffering nasty hits. I heard stories of fractured skulls and I myself took 4 nasty shots to the legs and one to my hand that damn near did me in for the season. Also, and this may sound stupid..I DONT WANT TO WEAR A MASK OR GOALIE EQUIPMENT TO PLAY !!!
So ...I hope you all support this ....besides, I remember some GREAT team matchoffs using a clincher and wood bats. You REALLY had to belt it to hit a HR.
Now, about these steroids....who got em...how much? =)

| I also think thats a good thing they have done with the balls... Especially after what I heard what Lamaris went thru!

| So negative Joe. I placed the order a week or so before Christmas at the Sports Shack (not New Alliance). They took my order and told me 3-4 weeks. They should be ready this week. I'll call the store today or tomorrow.

| The slight uptick in softball talk has forced me to call the jacket place. Our jackets are in, but need to be "printed" still. The guy said a couple days, no more than a week. So there.

| First off for the record.... New Alliance and Sports shack is one in the same. You register your team and pick up the balls and stuff at Sports Shack, right? Any, real director would do the leg work to award their teams, if they really wanted it to be taken care of! Or I'm just to spoiled in playing in real leagues and having them take care of it!
Greg by the way, Pete Dunne has your hoodie. He had to hold them all since you guys didn't go to the awards dinner.
Oh, thats right, Let me explain... That's where you go to get your awards that the league promises you!!!! not to sports shack!!!
By the way, I'm not negative! I'm just convinced!
