| That's a really good question. We haven't seen the Doc in a while. Doc? Doc? Are you around? We are awaiting more words of wisdom.

| The doctor is in! We had a slight bout with our otherself and we won. The new meds are working fine!
It has been a rollercoaster ride so far this season in the 7th/8th division. The doctor thinks Team Freid is still the team to beat. The doctor has an inside track on some other teams and all should be wary of Team Franczak and Team Filzen. The doctor knows they will have some tomfoolery up their sleeves for the next meeting with some teams. Silly coaches Filzen and Franczak - they lay low and get their plans together. The doctor has heard that there will be some extra-curricular practicing going on.....
Be afraid, be very afraid....

| The Pistol thinks the Dr. is crazy. The "Running Bennetts" are clearly the team to beat. Followed by Team Sibling coached by Filzen. Team Cell Phone, a little bit overrated, like their coach. Look for the undefeated season from the Running B's this year.

| Yes, the doctor has seen the Running Bennetts play and they are quite impressive. Team Franczak was able to employ a defense to stop their big player but it looks like lack of interior defense hurt down the stretch. The one thing the doctor did notice is the players on Team Franczak are not quitting and playing better.
The Doctor is quite concerned as we have been seeing several players taking 3s when up by double digits. The Doctor knows that this is not what the league is about and it has us concerned.
On a happier note, the Doctor has seen the coach for Team Cellphone become more animated as of late. Silly Coach Cell, you make us laugh. An Team Higgins has also taken it up a notch. The Doctor sees the doublemint twins that are their coaches jumping on the sidelines. The Doctor says don't hurt yourselves!

| Doc - they are just kids they want to score some baskets. They aren't told by the coaches to run up the score they are just having fun.

| Tiny - the doctor is fully aware of that and wethinks when it gets to that point that the kids who should be shooting the ball are the ones who may not have many shots during the game.
The doctor thinks it is great when every player scores. The doctor is distressed when it is the players who have scored most of their teams' points pulling up for a 3 pointer with 2 seconds left and their team winning by 20 points.
The doctor would be impressed if the coaches would call timeout and run a play for a kid who may not have had many touches in the game.
Silly doctor for thinking that....

| Oh Doctor, Doctor, Doctor......you are right my hall of famer, coaches do not tell players to run up the score. HOWEVER, they also don't tell them to stop running up the score. So which is worse?

| Wilt, you are correct my friend! The doctor can be a bit confused at times even when my meds fail me....need some water.....ok I'm back...WHEW...where was we...
Oh, yes, the doctor does not mind the baskets and sees each team playing hard. The doctor has one bit of advice - this is a recreational league and the goal is to get kids to learn some basketball basics. The doctor has seen some coaches go nuts (even moreso than the doctor) when a player who does not get many touches, takes a good shot and makes it in.
Then the doctor watches the rest of his team give him a high five...that is what it is about.
The doctor does not see too many Michael Jordan's sitting out there....oh, the doctor is sorry, MJ did not play organized basketball until he was a Sophomore in HS. Maybe the doctor should get autographs now from all the kids....we don't know which one will become the next SUPERSTAR! (In case, you don't know, the doctor has a tremendous amount of sarcasm, we do!)

| Dr J, Tiny and Wilt - this ain't the 70's anymore. You're talking the time of Shaq, Kobe and King James. These boys play once a week. If they want to score some extra points near the end, or have fun trying to set up their teammates then whats the problem? You guys are old school, drop a hard foul on them or something. They are all having fun, the only ones who care are the losing coaches and parents.
