| Well I guess I'll try and give everyone an update for last night, seeing as how we didn't get any from last week. I don't think that BP will be in much of a writing mood after suffering 2 losses last night.
For the 1st game, there were depleted crews. Much of this had to do with guys paying there respects to Calvert's loss of one fine lady and outstanding citizen. I'm sure God has a nice place set aside for the soul of Mrs. Katherine Sullivan. Now on to hockey.
The big Machine was triumphant again last night handing the depleted Silver Bullets a 10 - 8 loss. I was privy to a conversation on our bench during the game involving a couple of Rebels that we picked up. Capelin and Bradley were quite fascinated at how the well-oiled Machine operates. They were discussing how easy the points were coming. Also they wondered why we weren't as excited as them. I told them that this is how the Machine operates every night. The boys and Lukie were on a big high and rode that into their game against the stinking Lightning and defeated them 3 - 1. I believe this ties the Rebels with the Lightning for 3rd place. It looks like the landslide of the Lightning isn't gonna stop until it hits rock bottom in the cellar of the CEL.. The Lightning must have been real naughty as Santa put a curse on them to see them fall apart.
Anyway, gotta run . I'll have more later.
