| In the past we have had many 5th/6th & 7th graders compete in the state championships so we wanted to make it more exciting for those younger athletes. In an effort to keep more athletes involved in track & field starting this year we are going to place 5/6th and 7th graders and give them awards according to how they finished with other 5/6th and 7th graders in there perspective divisions. They will compete with the 8th graders in there perspective divisions but we will have their grades beside their names so we can tell how they would have placed if they only competed against athletes in the same grade. For those 5th/6th & 7th graders placers awards will be mailed to them and they will be recognized on the website. We are also going to have an all time top 10 lists for each age group.

| So if my son finishes up in the top 8 he doesn't get an award at the meet?
Yes your son will. However if you leave before the awards for that event you will be charged postage for us to mail it to you.
