| The Habs may not have won the cup this year, but I've said all season that I was "cautiously optimistic", and I didn't know if they were good enough to win it this year! Still, that was not too bad for a team that was picked by most to finish about 13th or 14th! I figured they would make the playoffs, but finishing first in the East surprised me! But take heart, Habs fans, this is a young team that will only get better! Take heart in the fact that while they didn't beat the Flyers, they ridiculously outplayed them for about 99 percent of the series! Also take heart in the fact that they still have more than double the Stanley Cups than any other team! And most importantly, take heart in the fact that they won 5 more playoff games this year than either Toronto or Ottawa!

| cant win them all the sens have made the playoffs the last 10 years at least you cant compare the habs playoff record to the sens of the last 10 years they are not in the same league.i bet the leafs have more playoff wins in the past 10 years than the habs. yeah 24 cups i know its a different game now than it was back when the habs won the majority of them cups.besides the sens have only being back in the league since 92 /93 i think.cheering for a team with a newfoundlander or newfoundland roots thats still playing .go sharks.go wings.go flyers i have lots of teams to cheer for.

| Who in the hell are you referring to? If you're sticking up for me and saying Boa Vista is like a true Habs fan, then you're also insulting me, because I'm also a true Habs fan!

| i think they meant you c1.for calling the person from bonavista.boneheadavista.it think they mean it shows how you habs fans have no class by making a dumb comment like that.they also mean you are no different than any other hab fan of french canadian you are all right when your winning but when you lose you guys show your true colors.no fluke beat by a better flyers team who paid the price physicaly with playoff hockey.not jusy showup and win just because they are the montreal canadians who finished in 1st place in the conference.some of the comments carbonneau made showed his lack of class and inexperience as a coach.i guess the sacrificing of the 16 police cars to the hockey gods wasnt enough SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP SWEEP.

| First of all, the series went 5 games, Einstein! Learn how to count! Second of all, I am not ignorant or arrogant, and I stand by every comment I've made! The Flyers won because of Biron, NOTHING else! What did Biron and Hamburger do, sell their souls to Satan for one good playoff series! Had Montreal caught even half the breaks that the Flyers did, they would've swept the series and won every game by six goals! The Habs know it! The Flyers know it! Hell, homeless people living on the streets of Bombay, India know it! Most importantly, YOU know it!

| thats not me saying those things.i would put my name to them.you know iam a hab hater.how do you know they would have won by 6 or 7 goals if they got a few breaks.you work for your breaks and when you get them you have to take advantage of them.just like the habs in years they won and any other team for that matter.they did win 4 in a row and they should have won the first one to but the habs got the breaks or call whatever way you slice it.the better team won and there is no changing that.stop the whining the habs are no better than anybody else stop living in the past.

| I'm not whining or living in the past, Reider, I'm just stating my opinion! Montreal caught one break in game one where the Flyers player broke his stick and the Habs tied it! That's one break, one goal! Makes you wonder what would've happened had the Habs caught the breaks the Flyers did the rest of the way! I may be exaggerating a bit when I say they'd win by 6 goals, but there's no doubt in my mind they would've won the series, probably in 4! If you're being honest with yourself, you know that too! I don't think a team could've worked much harder than Montreal did, but no breaks! And I know you, if the situation was reversed, you would be saying the same things I'm saying! Don't deny it! But you're right, the most opportunistic team won, and the Habs can now join the Sabres on the sidelines!

| If I wanted to deliver a low blow, I could say that the Sabres traded the wrong goalie at the deadline last year! I could say that they went from the penthouse last year to the outhouse! I could say those things, but I won't! Whoops! Sorry!

| Maybe they should've given him more of a chance! He was much better than Miller for most of this season! At times, I think I wouldn't have been much worse than Miller, and if you ever saw me play goalie you'd realize how bad THAT is! You'd be saying he should've been given more of a chance and stuff and would be talking about how well he's playing if the Habs had gotten rid of him! Pittsburgh and Philly should be great! This series will feature something you rarely see in playoff series these days; two teams that absolutely dispise each other! Oh sure, you still have your playoff rivalries and teams that don't like each other, but when the players on each of these teams have their pre-game afternoon nap, I would bet they dream about nothing but bad things happening to the other! Put it this way, they have about as much use for each other as teams did during those 80's playoff rivalries! Habs-Nords, Habs-Bruins, Islanders-Rangers, Detroit-Colorado in the 90's! I should be good! As the song goes, "let the bodies hit the floor"! Or in this case, the ice!

| should be 2 great series.turco is playing well for dallas he played great last night.i got to cheer for the wings to support cleary he has turned his career around after some tough times a few years back.your right the flyers and pens dont like each other it could be a nasty series the pens have had a pretty easy go of it so far this will be a big test for them.are the flyers healthy they had tougher opponents than the pens.

| I agree there! Ottawa barely put up a fight in round 1, so much so that the Pens had to work so little for that series that I don't think they even needed to shower after a couple of those games! The Flyers had a tough go of it against the Caps! I'm surprised the Rangers went out as quickly as they did! The Flyers were the more physical of the two teams when they played the Habs, but not by alot! Besides, while throwing a check may not take as much out of you as taking one, it still take something out and takes its toll eventually! You would also think Biron would be starting to wear down, and I think he showed some signs of that in game 5 on Saturday! The rest should help him! I don't really care who wins now, I don't mind any of the teams!
