| In case you have not heard through the grapevine the '08 CFL season will start early this year. The Rookie Combine will be July 13th this year as opposed to mid August as in previous years. As usual there will be a one week break for scrimmages with the first regular season game starting July 27. We will play the weekend of Labor Day and the season will end Saturday October 11th.
A player must play a minimum of 3 years before they are locked in the CFL. This means all first, second, and third year players may be cut from the draft for returning veterans, new rookies or anyone else. THIS IS NOT A NEW RULE. You are encouraged to play in the rookie combine but it is not a must (AT please confirm that).
If you have any questions reply to this message, especially if you are unclear on the 3 year rule.

| What about returning players who will be back to remind Tony what it's like to be shut down, prevent Nathan from running all over inferior talent, and remind Bob that he's a Pussy?

| Everyone,
It is really important that we let all prospective rookies know that the game is in mid-July this year, not mid-August. Please spread the word.
