| Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for Chosen 1 to call it a day! For the first time, I feel that I have nothing left to contribute, all my humour and whatever else has been used up! In other words, I have nothing left to give! I was going to leave a few days ago, but decided to stick around a while longer, just to make sure I emptied the tank, and I have! One thing I've always told myself is that I don't want to be the type of person to just hang around! If I'm not at the top of my game, then I don't want to be here! I've said I'm staying away for good many times, but this is a complete 180 from every other time! If you read my goodbye posts of the past, you will notice that in every one of them I kinda left the door open just a bit for a return! Now, the door has been closed and locked shut! What a ride it was! I was called many things controversial, enigmatic, intelligent, stupid, gay, a visionary, a pain in the ass! You name it, I was called it! I just want to say that I hold absolutely no hard feelings toward anybody who may not have been exactly nice to me, and in fact I wish nothing but the best for everyone! I just had so much fun, and I just hope that you all did, too! I'm trying to think of which moment or moments stands out the most, because there are so many! The night back in 06 when the crazy bitch saga was happening was a ton of fun for me! Talking hockey with Reider was always interesting! I feel that for the first time, I belong, and that makes it easier to leave, knowing that I'm not leaving thinking that everyone hates me! I just want to say that I have no regrets posting on here, and the past couple of years were the most fun I ever had on the computer talking and joking around with you folks! I may check in from time to time, just to check out how the races went and to see what everyone is up to! Then again, I may not! But I will never post another message! One problem I had before was that I'd stay away and wouldn't be planning on returning, but as soon as I checked out the message board, I'd get the itch again! Now, I know that I can take a peek at the board from time to time without getting the urge to post again! I remember a couple years back, someone said I should be tied to the hood of a race car! I was told I should be torn limb from limb! Ouch! I was even told that I should be in the trunk of the Crazy Canuck's car when he makes the jump! The good ol' days! I could go on and on about all the good times I've had on here, but that would take days! Even the times that weren't much fun then are kinda funny when you look back on them now! To be honest, I can't see me checking out the board very often, if at all! It's your website, your message board, your speedway! I still want to make it down to a race someday! If the track is there for another few years, I guarentee you that I will! Geez, I wasn't planning on going on for this long! So much for that! I just hope that everyone remembers Chosen 1 in a good way, and I hope I was able to make people laugh and I hope I was helpful in some situations! Well, maybe I'll make it down someday to a race and see you all! Until then, everybody take care! I've had more fun than a person should be allowed! Goodbye!

| The only question I have for this person is why didn't you say this to Chosen 1 when he was posting? It's because you know he'd put you in your place, or he would say something funny that you would not have an answer for. You are the one that is a miserable piece of shit. And a coward to boot.

| I hope Chosen 1 does not read this message board or at least not this one. It is not a good idea to chase away potential race fans. Chosen 1 did say he wants to go to a race here. With people like that calling him a piece of s*&t I can't see where he would now. Though I think he's smart enough to know that this person does not speak for all of us. Chosen 1 sounds like a really knowledgeable race fan not to mention a big eater and spender. He may bring a few others with him, they might spend alot of money in the community and at the track, who knows he or they may like it and decide to return and maybe he will tell others. He may come here more often. more money for the local economy every little bit helps.

| It looks like C1 has left for good. I know he has many times before but this has a completely different feel to it. If that's the case, I'm really going miss his humor, wisdom, and so much else he contributed to this web site. There have been others before him and there will be many others after, but there will never be another Chosen 1. Personally I couldn't wait for him to post something because he was alway either funny or he posted stuff that really made people think, sometimes both at the same time. I can see how some would find him slightly annoying, but I think he was the funniest, most interesting person who has ever posted.

| I, for one, will miss the most interesting, insightful and informative comments from the Chosen 1. Those who think he's full of s*&% and other unmentionable names are perhaps threatened by his wisdom and rather than comment sensibly on a topic he posts, say foolish things as they are not capable of responding by putting a full sentence together.

| I think what really ticked people off was that he was really funny and entertaining, much more than anybody else but when it came right down to it when he was serious like you said he posted very insightful and intelligent comments. That really made people jealous and angry.
