| At the risk of being accused of sore losing:
question 1: rule 12: Teams with 10 or more players, Cannot have the services of replacement players.
Question 2: Why were Shua and Danny playing in the same game? As far as I knew they were selected as two halves of one whole, in other words they were to take up one roster spot combined.
Question 3: I thought metal cleats were not allowed.
Why do managers have the ability to cancel a rule? Can they also decide that the ball was really fair? Can they decide that a pitch was a strike?
just asking some questions that I have heard being asked - apparently others don't want to bring it up . . .

| condescending - adjective showing or implying a usually patronizing descent from dignity or superiority.
Can't see how that would fit? I am annoyed at both teams that played on tues night. I think that while the regular season is meant only for fun, the post season is not about money (we pay for reg season - noone gets rebates if you miss the playoffs) or 'fun'. It is exclusivly about winning.
Therefore the rules that were created to perserve an even playing field should be adhered to.
Am I off base? Do you think it is right to disregard the rules? Even if both managers agree?

| Re: Metal cleats
Metal cleats are banned because the potential health risks. There is precedent from prior seasons of a player being allowed to finish one game with metal cleats. Presumably this is because the risk of injury is still relatively low and because this league rule is\was not known by the metal cleat wearer.

| Jack, sliding is better for the runner for a number of reasons, one of them is to avoid a collision, and being that the person in question is very big most people would rather him slide than get into a collision with him. One more thing the rule has been in place for a while now, it's not new, and he still brings them to play, it's not like he forgets the rule every game.
