| I was looking at google earth the other day and i saw a track out around pouch cove...what is that?...horse or old car track... i know of a few tracks like bay roberts.. carbonear.. i just wish there were more tracks around to make the sport grow not the same thing every sunday.

| You must have been at Bay Roberts or Pouch Cove last year cause I didn't see car 12 race in Avondale too often.

| the track you see in the pouch cove area is actually the old paved track that was operating in show cove back in the 70s knights speedway it was called

| more tracks operating in nf.not enough support for more than 2 tracks.2 tracks a paved and a dirt track is plenty.maybe if the price of gas keeps dropping maybe could get a few more drivers with bigger cars(8s) out to race.need an operator with some deep pockets to keep a track up and running.whats the story of the new ownership group taking over AVS is this still a rumour or is there some work being done over the off season to get a new ownership group to operate AVS for this coming season.its only 5 months away.
