| There was a record 281 drivers entered in this year's event! It ran from Wednesday, Jan. 7th to Saturday,(the main race) Jan. 10th. I know who won the main race on Saturday(the one that will be shown on TV), but I won't say anything. Wouldn't want to ruin it for those who plan on watching it and don't want to know!

| Yeah, that's him. I used to see T-Mac race weekly years ago in a DIRT modified. His father is the legendary "Barefoot" Bob McCreadie! Apparently he injured one of his vertebrae(Is that spelled right?) Haven't heard how long he'll be out, but I'm guessing for a while!

| I just watched it on YouTube. He was leading his heat and was went too high in turn one. He got into the loose stuff on the top and he flipped off one and over the fence! He just put it too high in the corner. There were no other cars involved.

| I don't know if he gave it up, didn't have a ride or what it was! I was talking to someone today and he told me that the rear axle broke on T-Mac's car to cause the accident!

| checked out the video on you tbe it was a spectacular crash.it was a miracle he survived.i had an aunt who lived in oklahoma visted her many years ago when she was alive.my uncle and cousin took me to the track the 3 friday nights i was there it was awesome.a few years later my uncle was in a pit crew when his freind had a team had many souvenirs from oklahoma speeedway and fairgrounds over the years.maybe someday may get back to visit my uncle and his family to return the favour and take him to the track he is getting up there now.

| Bob hasn't raced in the last couple years. He hurt his arm pretty bad in an accident(non-racing). He hasn't retired though and I've heard that he may still race again!

| Barefoot Bob thats a great name.have driven my car plenty of times barefoot its a little strange the feeling of the pedals on your feet.cant imagine racing like that to easy to get burned.

| I would imagine by now everyone knows that "Slammin" Sammy Swindell won this year's event! This was his 5th Chili Bowl win! I'm sure by this point he's got a severe case of indigestion! Personally, I think the Chili Bowl Nationals should be sponsored by Alka-Seltzer or Tums!
