whats wrong with the habs they are struggling lately.is it all the trade talk? they are not playing much like a contender lately.only a handful of points up on the lowly sabres.not that far ahead of the last playoff spot.still not to far back of the 4th and 5th spots either.not making a dig just looking for your opinion.

I don't know really. Price hasn't been as good since returning from injury. I wouldn't say the Sabres are lowely. They're a very dangerous team, just ask Edmonton! They've also played the Habs very tough this year. I've always said that when a goalie is on or isn't on his game, it affects the whole team accordingly. Now I'm not blaming everything on Price, as he's not playing terrible or anything! He's had company lately! I've heard people mention lately that maybe the trade rumors have something to do with it, but I refuse to use that as an excuse! In fact, I refuse to use any excuse besides their own poor play as a factor in their recent slide! I think they'll turn it around. I'm not bragging, but I feel like they have too much talent not to! It just appears as though they don't want to match the other team's work ethic right now! As bad as they've played lately, they're still a bit ahead of where they were last year at this time, and if not for Boston playing as great as they have, Montreal would be battling for the division and conference lead! But yeah, they have to start playing better! If they don't beat LA today, then it can officially be called a slump! I'm not taking a shot at your Sabres or anything, as they're one of my favorite teams, but Miller has to drive you crazy! One game he looks like Jacques Plante on his best day. The next he looks like Red Light Racicot on his worst day! But like I said, they're a very dangerous team and when Miller is on they could do some damage if they get in the playoffs!

I hope they get them in the playoffs and pull off the upset there, because they're sure having problems with them during the season! I think the team to watch for is Calgary!

the flames are strong.think they need a backup goalie and maybe another dman.noticed the habs jerseys for todays game against the bruins on the tsn site. didnt see the game was working all weekend.it was appropriate seeing they stole the one from the kings yesterday.flames and jersey in the final when brodeur retuns the devils will be tough to beat.

You never know, Price and Luongo have been inconsistent at best since returning from injury. We'll see if Brodeur does the same! Yeah, LA pretty much beat themselves yesterday with dumb penalties! Nice win if you're a Habs fan though! I wouldn't say they stole it, handed to them is more like it! I didn't see today's game either, goaljudging.

The sweaters the Habs wore today were one of I believe is eight different sweaters they'll wear this year. Has to do with their 100th anniversary!

how is the jr hockey going this year u guys have a good team.what u think of the elbow gauthier give to gorges? must be worth about 8 or 10 games dont u think? when a guy does something like that he should have to play one more shift after his penalty is served. especially someone like gauthier who has a history of this kind of stuff.i call it hit and run like a coward he should have to answer for something like that. i just didnt say that did i.

Yeah really! It's funny, because my cousin and I were talking the other day and that's exactly what I told him! Every player in the league has been rumored to be traded to the Habs! I tell you, the media in Montreal never gets bored! That because if there's no story to report, they create one!

There was a player in the WHL I believe one time back in the 80's who got traded for a bus! Didn't Kris Draper get traded to Detroit for one dollar?

heard something about a guy getting traded for a bus.also heard something about a guy getting trade for 2 old nets with no mesh. think it was eddie shore when he was running the team in the ahl that made that trade back in the day.

The player's name was Tom Martin. While playing at the U. of Denver, his WHL rights were traded from Seattle to Victoria for Victoria's team bus! Not sure of the exact year, but it was some time in the early 80's. Martin actually played some games with Winnipeg, Hartford and the Minnesota North stars over the next few years!
