| The point system introduced for the Chase will be used for the full 2009 season. For example : Instead of the first place car receiving 40 points the last place car will receive 16 points and each car above will receive 2 points for each position! Your opinion is important. If you were unable to attentd the meeting Please indicate if you Agree or Disagree!

| do they get the points even if they dont finish the race?12 minis start winner gets 38 points.8 super stockers winner gets 30 points that could add up to a big difference after 15 races.will the top drivers from each division start with the same points for the chase?

| It's more difficult to beat 11 cars than 7 cars so the driver should get more points.

| thats not always true.of those 11 drivers more than half maybe be rookies or 1st time on the track in the minis.most of the drivers from super are pretty experienced drivers making the competition stiffer and harder to win.dont stack the points against the super stock drivers thats what most people come out to watch.no super stockers no fans no avs.if you split the minis in 2 divisions it may work.

| Here is an idea. Let the base starting point for awarding points start at the middle of the field. For example, if 9 cars start a race, have 20 points for fifth place and 2 more for fourth etc.... and 2 points less for sixth. If 20 cars start have the tenth place car awarded 50 and use the same system. This would give the winners of the races with more cars more points, but would be less of an advantage for them. I think it is not right for there to be as much of a difference in points because of number of cars. I also believe that winning should not be the start of the points. A car winning a race with 9 cars should not recieve the same points as a car winning a race with 20 cars. I would really have liked to attend the meeting but it was logistically impossible. Here's to tweaking the system!

| OOOOOPS! That should be 20 points for fifth and 20 for tenth not 20 and 50. Sorry for the sudden increase in your brain activity when reading the last post.

| If I am correct, right now the last place car recieves 16 pts. The increase in two points from there will create a very large difference of points between a car winning a race with 12 cars as opposed to a car winning a race with 20 cars. It would be a difference of 16 pts.
Now lets take the middle of the field as the starting point for awarding points. In a 20 car field, lets award the tenth place finisher 36 points with two points more above and two points below for each successive finisher. The result would be 16 points for position 20, with 54 going to the winner.
In the 12 car field, Start in the middle of the field with the same points, 36 points for sixth place and go two point either way as with the 20 car field. The result would be 46 points for the winner with position twelve recieving 24 points.
I know this is not a perfect solution but I think it is a position for debate and a fairer system than announced. It would ensure that the car winning the more supposidly challenging race will recieve more points than the car winning in a 12 car field, with not as big of a difference as starting the points from last position. If you need further clarification, take a piece of paper and WRITE IT DOWN AND LOOK AT IT. Decide for yourself if I had a brain fart or if I am on to something.
Regards, Orbison

| each division should have its own cup anyways. Instead of drivers in superstock having to compete against drivers in mini or street stock. let the superstock cars have the buy and sell cup since the cost to run them in considerablly higher and more people come to see them. the other divisons could get smaller prizes with the help of someone sponsering like the buy and sell does or some other means of getting the money. this would encourge other drivers to move up to superstock because the money is better. Right now it makes more since to be in street stock because its cheaper and there is little or no competition.

| yes the super stocks are loud but i come to see the action..lets face it the minis are where the action is,,its close racin more bumping and grinding..how can 7 or 8 loud cars running around in single file,{ie 8's} claim to be the stars when they dont put on a show...keep the 4's comin you guys are the best,in my opinion the cup should be in the division where the most cars run.secondary trophys for the secondary divisions,,its that simple...so far the fours are the best show in avondale.

| I agree that each division should have its own cup. Superstocks are loud but they have more rolls and bumping, too bad only two cars raced on Sunday. Didn't enjoy it as much. Missed all the other superstock drivers.
