| Well, our 16U team had to play a third national team in a row in the first game on Sunday with similar results to the first two national teams on Saturday. Our ladies played hard, but were just outmatched by teams full of college bound players. I found out that the first team we played, which was a 17U team had five to six signed college players, with three of them being division I colleges. Our fourth game was very competitive, but with only seven players we came up short, losing by four with the game result going down to the last minute. The bottom line is everyone should understand that this will go a long way to getting us better and all our players should recognize that if you want to get to the next level you have to do the work. The way you practice is usually the way you are going to play in the games, so work hard in practice, be fundamental in practice and it will carry over to games, develop basketball IQ, learn from your mistakes and be a teammate.
