| Just thought I'd share that. Do you know that they are not allowing fans to go down to the field level to get autographs during BP unless you're in the (empty) premium seats? Does the greed ever stop?
Anyway, while researching tomorrow's forecast, I came across this article trying to explain the reason behind the Coors Field East we're seeing at New Yankee Stadium.

| And you wonder why the old yankee stadium is still standing. Let's move back now as this new field has been cursed by evil weather gods and Gurkel Sr's presence. The great Giambino will have a field day these next two days. I envision the Yanks trading AROD and Tex for Nomar and Giambi by July.

| Funny how no blame gets put on the mighty and overpaid Yankee pitching staff. Somehow I feel as if our CCD is using this wind theory as a preemptive excuse for when fly balls start leaving the yard on Wednesday night. Dr. Troise should have plenty of aggravated and sore necks over the next few months to tend to, with our own pitching staff making plenty of quick and strenuous neck turns over the next several months. Where have you gone Pistol Pete?

| Once again the Yanks get bombed at the Stadium in which Gurkel Sr. attended.
This really is getting to be stupid. How can anyone go to three games and be 0-3? The Yanks have not lost when Gurkel is not there, so why must he go!!! Something will be done.

| From today's NY Post:
"Reader Gary Cicio, NYC podiatrist, did the research, and asks us to choose one of the two options to see a Mariners-Yankees game this season, and from the very best seats:
Option 1: Two tickets to Tuesday night, June 30, Mariners at Yanks, cost for just the tickets, $5,000.
Option 2: Two round-trip airline tickets to Seattle, Friday, Aug. 14, return Sunday the 16th, rental car for three days, two-night double occupancy stay in four-star hotel, two top tickets to both the Saturday and Sunday Yanks-Mariners games, two best-restaurant-in-town dinners for two. Total cost, $2,800. Plus-frequent flyer miles."
