| they didnt give him a chance coach carbo sat him in the press box.when he did play he was on the 3rd and 4th lines with limited ice time playing with some stiffs like latendresse or kotsopolus.how can you score like that.see the difference when he was placed on a line with some decent talent.actually when i think about it all the habs are a bunch of stiffs maybe they werent good enough to play with ryder and carbo keep him out of the lineup not to embarass the other players on the team.anyway were is carbo now?ollie ollie ollie ollie.

| Where's Carbo now? Sitting at home watching hockey on TV....and still getting paid to do so! Who's the one that's REALLY laughing now? Ryder sucked last season, THAT was the reason he was sat out! Carbo gave him many chances to right his game, but he never did! So he goes to a team like Boston where they have alot of good two-way players and he doesn't have to back-check much if at all! He can do what he's always done....hang around the net waiting to be fed! I will say though that Boston probably has more players to get him the puck! Ryder is a decent goal-scorer, but put him on a team that expects a fair amount of back-checking game in and game out, and he'll pout and sulk like he did with the Habs last year! So he goes out and picks the bones in a series against a team in turmoil that probably wasn't even good enough to be there, and were missing three top d-men! Mark my words! It's only a matter of time before Ryder falls out of Juliens good books in Boston, mostly due to his one-dimentionalness! But I know you people are all gonna stick up for him no matter what because he's a Newfie like you people are! If he was from any other province, this wouldn't even be an issue! Oh yeah, I almost forgot....I'M BACK!!!!

| feel sorry for gainey.yeah right he created some of the mess the teams in.not all his fault lots of blame to go around starting with ownership and the selling of the team talk.no stabilty at the top makes for a bad scene all around.just look at the islanders perfect case.as much as i dislike the habs(notice i didnt say hate)it was painful to watch.the habs fans are just brutal booing giving players the bronx cheer throwing stuff on the ice they were dispicable.they say they are the best and most knowledgable fans in all of hockey. YEAH RIGHT WHAT A JOKE.

| The Habs fans ARE very knowledgable, sometimes TOO knowledgable for their own good! As you know, I'm a Habs fan and have been so for a long time, but I was disgusted so much with their treatment of the team, especially Price, that I could've choked each and every one of them! It definately wasn't all Price's fault! The bad part for Habs fans is that Thomas wasn't exactly sharp on the last 3 goals, it's just too bad they couldn't have peppered the shots at him like Boston did on Price!

| As for Gainey, even if you're not a Habs fan, you still have to admit that he is one of the classiest people in hockey! He recently said that his coaching days are done, that he's not a good enough coach any more! There's alot of coaches coaching right now that are in that boat, but at least Gainey will admit it!
