| Here is the recap:
It was absolutely terrible for the Frosties. Blue and Green bats were way too much for the red bats... Other than one big inning all night, the Frosties were cursed by the number 4. Everytime the Frosties looked up at the scoreboard, the Frostie only would push across four runs, or be down by 4 runs, 14 runs, 24 runs, etc. The # 4 really came back to haunt the Frosites in game 2 as the Cougars managed to score 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th to win game 2. Cougars win 28-14 in game 1 and game 31-30 in game 2. After making a huge adjustment for the first time every in a Frosty Softball game, the Frosty ones utilized a five man infield that more than likely limited the Cougars to under 100 runs on the night and managed to keep us alive in game 2. Frosties defense was faced with a total disaster in the bottom of the 6th of game 2 (last inning due to time). With the bases loaded, one out, all HRs used up, and the Frosties clinging to a 30-29 lead, a pop up to deep 2nd base was hit. The ump called the infield fly rule, and the batter was out. However, the ball was caught up in a nasty tornado that when it landed, it spun fast and hard away from our 2nd basemen, and the speedy Cougars on 2nd and 3rd both took off when the ball landed on the dirt. By the time our second basemen got to the ball and fired towards the plate, a wind gust of 100 mph struck down on the field, Coach Freddo's hair was totally split to pieces as you could hear the flax seed gel cracking off his head, and the speedy runner from 2nd beat the throw home. The Cougars walked off with a dramatic win and extended their career record at JBW to 166 - 4.
Offensively, the Frosty Bombs were led by Tom "the Chair" Frem who led the way with three home runs, and Nicky "the Gimp" Harrison finally raised his slugging percentage with a monstrous blast of his own. Both combined for 18 RBIs on the evening. PBJ also was clutch all night with timely hits, and Boom Boom Bruno surpassed Rob "the Regulator" Goerke with the most Frosty Walks in the least amount of games played (10 walks in 6 games). Brian "Casino" Goerke also took advantage of 40mph winds and hit his first HR of the season. Frosties (5-5) look to rebound next week if we indeed play against someone. If no game is scheduled, then we will have to just stay tuned for the next part of the schedule to be released. Frosty Management will be holding a meeting shortly to discuss roster deadline and other important matters. Results of the meeting will be issued shortly. We ask that you stay tuned.

| The Cougars beat the money Freddo owed John Militello out of the Frosties. That'll teach him.
