| Well, the GymRat Challenge was all it was made up to be and we got all we could bargain for and then some. Our 16U Girls played their hearts out and lost a close one to the New York Pride in our first game. If it wasn't for an inept first half we probably would have gotten that win easily. Our second two games against the Western NY Lady Titans and the NY Explosion Elite were great experiences in the long run for our young athletes, but the talent level was quite a stretch beyond ours. These teams were definite national competitors and handled us with relative ease. It was a tremendous tournament, however, with almost all the best teams in the northeast and from as far as Baltimore. I applaude our 16U Ladies for their efforts right to the end of each game, despite the score.
