| Had some beers during the CFL draft. Nathan hadn't had anything to eat all day. He was feeling light headed. We go to drafting, we listed the protected players. The draft started and Mike Zeer makes his first two selections. "I'll take Sean and Max" simple as that! The night was going smooth! Mike took Pat Kiniya next just like he predicted he would do. So it’s on Chris now and he immediately selects Brett (no brainer). Tarik is up and has an easy choice to make, he needs a lineman so he goes with Sinan. Just as everyone looks at Mike to see who is next to be picked… Nathan remembers to mention that Justin Orow may have to have his hand amputated. Thank God he spoke up or someone would have been stuck with damaged goods! After letting out a big sy of relief that Nathan shared the news before it was too late to take back, Mike selects Fadi.
Chris does himself some more good by taking Pete. Russ is slotted in the 4th spot for Bob but before we could turn to Nate to see who he wanted, we hear “I’ll take Justin Orow” WTF? The dude with one hand?
The rest of the draft goes pretty well.
So we make a few meaningless trade offers and off we go to Big Rock!
Mike Zeer starts by texting Anthony Acho to get him heated up (not sure what was text to him). Anthony texts Nate that he wants to be traded. Nate texts him back Fuckyou fuck you bitch.
The night goes on and Nate and Anthony at each other throats via text. Mike is basking in glory as he takes the credit for stirring things up
Nate shows us the text message and then Bobby gets a text from Tyson. Tyson wants to be traded or asked for a trade or hinted he might not be happy playing with Derrick D on his team again. Not too sure what was going. Bobby said he told Tyson if he wasn’t happy to go find a place to play. Nate got a text from Ty and they arranged a midnight rendezvous (not really). Bobby asked who Nate was texting and he said no one. Mike looked over and said it’s Tyson. WFT the guy that just said he wanted to leave Green because Derrick D was back?
Bob told Nate he was going to kick his ass and then volunteered to coach one of the CCSL teams next year. All in the same breath. Nothing but love in the CFL.
Our dinner showed up and Nate was still going at it with Anthony Acho. Next Nolan shows up and everyone says hey, hello, what’s up and all the other ways we greet our leader!
So Nate throws his phone down and says “My mom is a bleeeeep if this guy (Anthony) plays a down in game one for yellow”
Nolan looks at him and says… “Hey that’s my mom too you”
Classic night following a CFL draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
