| On behalf of all Frosties, thank you for making 2009 an amazing year filled with many highlights and drama. From March to November, the Frosties battled with Long Island's best teams in both league and tournamanet play and finished the year with an overall winning record. The Frosties also collected its first tournament win by dominating the Summer Autism Tourney. Some Frosty hopeful are still in the process of coordinating a trip to Florida to cash in on a paid birth to the ISA Worlds, and that would be an amazing achievement.
Aside from the playing field, the Frosty family continues to grow. The Frosties welcomed Arite Pants, BEANs, Pete Harrison, and Home Run King Pete Delia into the mix in 2009, and it looks like they are here to stay. Frosty network continues to grow, and Frosty and Brews Brothers management will convene at the winter meetings to develop a plan for 2010.
The Frosty extreme future also looks bright! Congradulations once again to Saint Joe, Tom the Chair Frem, and CC PBJ Catania on their newborns, and we wish Nicky and Artie the best as they await theirs in 2010.
Feel free to list your favorite Frosty moment right here on the Frosty Forum.
And remember fellas, the winter can be brutal. Think about all the wear and tear we have done to our bodies: softball, golf, weight-lifting, dance lessons, tripping on toys causing unexpected falls, drinking, smoking. The list is endless. We need to focus more on our health, availability, and future success not only for the team but also for our loved ones. Dr. Troise specializes in nutritional supplements as well, so please make an appointment today!
This concludes our Frosty 2009 campaign. As always, the CCD will continue to keep us entertained right here at the Home of the Frosties, so stay tuned!!!

| Here are a few of my favorite Frosty moments:
Playing right field with Rob Goerke in left field to open the Spring season against J&K. Two run rules.
Frem's walk off HR to win the summer tournament.
CCD hitting a pinch hit HR in the tournament and limping around the bases like Kirk Gibson.
Eating Nicki's birthday cake in the parking lot at Michel after two wins over Pipe. That was good cake.
Lou intentionally fouling of a dead ball into the bushes at Jones Beach, then hitting the fresh new ball over the fence on the next pitch.
(Tie) Frem getting yelled at by LeMaris for shooting box at Jones Beach. Rabbit yelling at Frem for shooting box on LeMaris at Michel.
Eating 6 hot dogs at the summer tournament while doing the book.
Brian Goerke yelling at the umpire at Venetian when a batter he walked went straight to the dugout and never touching 1st base.
CCD's 3 HR, 11 RBI performance at Venetian.

| Ok I'll bite:
Joe G running the bases
Freddo's attempts to restrain himself from posting Frosty recaps to a website where everyone is accused of cheating.
Knowing that we beat good tournament ballplayers and A/B league teams with the same bunch of friends with most of us playing only once per week. And that we are better than those losers that cheat to play rec league softball.
More to come.

| I don't know how you remember all this stuff!! I only remember GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD WINS, GOOD AT BATS, AND GOOD SEEDS!
I'll remember to take good notes throughout the year so I can better contribute to this post next year!

| GOOD GOD Dalton. V-Day Massacre tourney was absolutely terrible. The question for BG is when he does retire, which hat does he wear in the HOF?? Frosties, Patriots, Eagles, Brews Brothers, Shockers, Arsenal, Fortis, Lupy's team, Skales team??
Here are some more Frosty moments that were absolutely terrible:
Playing Pipe four out of first five weeks. Using non-composite bats. Nicky breaking his ankle. Losing to the Cougars on an infield pop-fly. Beans' brawl with Dundon. Where the hell is Bruno every week. Freddo catching swine flu during Frosty summer playoffs. Perm's retirement.
Yes, there were plenty of happy moments like:
Frem on beer. Bruno's magical cooler. New blue and green bats. The resurgence of the RED BAT in the fall. Not playing the wicked sticks three times. Jasmine and Bean's female fan club. Santa Claus playing on the Frosties (Okay, that was last year, but it's a memory that will last forever!)

| More:
Freddo's uncanny ability to hit the top bar of the fence in the Fall.
TK leading the nation in infield basehits.
Moose blasting pitchers in spring training.
Brian becoming one of the most dirtiest players in the game.
Pete Delia, playing a lefty third, clocking the runner in the head on a snap tag.
Woody for his new found power and our secret weapon at third base.
Rob G handling third well - well until...
Gino for improving his field attire.
CC for being the most up-and-down hitter we've ever seen and bursting into the lead over the CCD for the biggest headcase on the team.
Artie with having to put up with us clowns for 8 months.
Nicky's injury comebacks, crossing the 30-year age line, expecting a kid, getting married. He's done next year.
Joe G's rolodex which must be examined next yeat.
The wallets of Frosty team members purchasing Green, Blue and more Red bats as opposed to everyone using the same bat.

| All great times and great moments. A few that went unmentioned: 1- CCD yelling at the ice cream truck to get out of his pitching view at Sawyer.
2- Joe M's non stop conversations with Freddo in the outfield from everything to politics to self pleasuring techniques.
3- BG wrestling Shaquille O'Neal (pitcher from Who Cares) and almost starting a race riot, which would have led to Al Sharpton protesting the Frosties for the rest of the season.

| Last Few:
- Freddos unsuccessful "standing still" technique on a fly ball at Venetian.
- Bruno getting booed of the mound during his pitching debut, only trying to help out, and thus never returning to play again.
-Woody, doing is best Brooks Robinson impersonation for one night.
-Big Pete working the grill like no one else can during the summer tournament.

| My favorite moments: 1) Drinking in the parking lot 2) Woody first and foremost "playing" preferably for me in the outfield so I can get some chair time and taking "2" or running the bases- 1st to 3rd love watching the intensity & arms flying all over the place. 3) outfield communication Fiumes yells- "In"- Everybody else-yells "back" then the whole team turns The whole infield yells "Nicky don't listen to him" 4) Greg Kalina streaks- Best hitter in the game when hot when cold, I pray no one hits a tape measure shot in front of him. It gets him nuts. 5) Lou or Tony hitting one near the scoreboard in right at mitchell. 6) Big pete- just being there and being big petey NICE LAMPS...... The laugh..... UGH, UGH, UGH..... 7) The more than 2 beer and go home parking lot team...

| What about the CCD's dreamworld stats for half the summer season??? At one point, he had over 50 HRs and his slugging was well over 2.500.

| That unfortunately was an oversight by our stats department that led to inaccurate home run reporting during a 3 to 4 week period during the summer. 50 home runs was quite impressive, but the investigation required some time to complete and it was determined that the home runs be removed from the statistics.

| Excellent point oh great one!
Another Frosty memorable moment was the 50 pound canoli that Artie provided at the Frosty end of summer bash at Freddo's house. Hopefully, a great big canoli will once again appear for Turkey Day tomorrow.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Mr. Pigpen and to all Frosty faithful.
