| It's so tough to repeat in pro sports these days! Just ask the Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Celtics or any NFL team for the past few seasons! Which makes Johnson's FOUR straight Sprint Cup titles all the more remakable! In my opinion, one of the reasonsheis so good is because he always seems to stay on an even keel! Never gets too exited after a win, never gets too upset or whines after a not-so-good week, even when he has a reason to be upset or to complain! Crew cheif Chad Knaus is the same way! There are some good drivers in Sprint Cup, but I don't see any in the future being as good as Johnson is now, with the exception of one....Kyle Busch! If "Rowdy" ever settles down a bit and matures, he could someday put up Johnson-like numbers! He probably has as much natural driving talent as anyone(much more than some) in the Cup Series, he only needs the attitude to go with it!

| Kyle Busch is already progessing a lot. I see a huge difference in Kyle's attitude now than at the start of the season. He's maturing without losing his "Rowdy" personality, which is a good thing in my opinion. I think he'll be one to look out for next season. As for Jimmie and the 48 team no one can touch them right now, although Mark Martin came pretty close. If it wasn't for his tumble at Talladega I think the point battle at the final race in Miami would have been much more interesting.

| In my opinion, a big part of the maturation process is realizing you don't have to win every race to be sucessful! Oh sure, it would be nice to win every race and lead every lap, but it just don't happen! Kyle may be starting to realize that! That all comes back to remaining on that even keel! Martin did take a tumble at Telladega, but Johnson also faltered badly last week at Pheonix, so that's a wash! You never know, somebody may come out of nowhere and go on a tear the next few seasons! How many honestly thought back in about '04 or '05 that in 4 or 5 years we'd be talking about Jimmie Johnson wrapping up his 4th straight title?

| i've been a nascar fan now for years and personally i don't know if just one team can shutdown the 48 team. I think we may need more than one team to step up and challenge the 48. I think if 2 or maybe 3 other teams are really challenging for a title they may be able to hold off the 48. I haven't seen anything yet that tells me 1 team can hold off the 48 because so far knowbody seems to be playin the game the way they are.

| Your plan sounds good....on paper! However, racing, like every other sport, isn't played out on paper! Once drivers get into the heat of battle, especially with titles on the line, all bets are off and it's every man for himself! Good luck trying to get 2 or 3 teams working together enough and long enough to prevent someone from winning a title, even team-mates! Besides, even though Jimmie has won 4 championships in a row, it's not like he's hated or even not liked by fellow drivers! Back to the paper thing....if a track had a paper surface, geez I couldn't see it having much grip!
