| Anyone who says that race car drivers are not athletes should try wrestling with those beasts for 400 miles in 100-plus degree temperatures! You see those guys at the end of a race and they're exhausted! If race car drivers aren't athletes, then how can anyone say that golfers or bowlers ARE? Hell, TSN shows the national spelling bee every year, for God's sake! I guess those kids must be athletes as well! And darts? Poker? All athletes, I guess! What's next, the world-wide rock-paper-scissors sports extravaganza? Why stop there? Let's have the coach-potato olympics! There are alot of "sports" out there where the participants can never be mistaken for athetletes of any sort, but racing is definitely not one of them!
