| No I'm not checking out, and I think who ever this gay Bob guy is he's probably joking around! Yeah, Gui is playing well for the Wild, and Pouliot has scored a few for the Habs recently! I got to see Pouliot play Jr A a few years back in this area! Sometimes a change of scenery does wonders for a player, because Gui wasn't doing much for Montreal, and it wasn't for lack of ice time! As for Burrows, I don't doubt for one second that everything he says is true! Why would he make up something like that? Auger was involved in some controversy with Doan a few years back as well! Those referees can say whatever they want to a player, and if nobody else hears it, the league will always side with the ref! I can remember something my Dad said years ago! He knew a guy who played a bit in the NHL years before! He told my Dad that if you knew all the stuff that really went on in the NHL, you'd never watch it again! He didn't go into details, but I've always wondered what some of that stuff is! Dad used to jokingly say that wrestling is the only sport that's not phoney! Two things have to change! First, I think that players and coaches should be able to say whatever they want about officiating in the media! If the refs don't like it, then don't make such brutal calls and/or be so biased towards certain teams and they won't be criticized so much! Second, the referees should have to talk to the media(like the players and coaches) after each game, especially ones in which they screw up a call! I don't care what anyone says, officials in every sport at every level have their favorites!

| can the habs make it to 6th in the conference and the sabres stay in 3rd we could have a habs sabres matchup in the 1st round of the playoffs that would be interesting.which goalie should they move halak or price.i think halak he is a free agent in july if u move price and halak walks who would be there #1 keeper then.whats you think?

| I don't know who the #1 goalie would be then, maybe Red Light Racicot is available! I don't think the Habs would beat the Sabres in a best of seven series! Halak or Price(when on their game) could probably match Miller in the goaltending department, but that's about it! Sabres have too much speed and firepower! Having said this, you never know what can happen in the playoffs, but I think the Habs would be very lucky to last 6! I get a kick out of the Leafs fans that I know! They keep telling me wait til next year, Burke will overhaul the team in the off-season and make them contenders next year! I ask them, didn't he do that this past off-season, and stated that this was the year they were supposed to be so much improved and would make the playoffs? Burke is no different than any other GM they've had in the past 20 years! He knows the fans will fill the place even if they hadn't won a game in the past 5 years! The thing is, this year they can't even win for losing! I probably shouldn't say too much, because they have taken 4 points from the Habs this year! Gustavsson, though, one night looks like the second coming of Ken Dryden, you know being tall and lanky, then the next night looks like the second coming of Roman Cechmanek! Back to Price and Halak....I would keep Price, because I think he has more potential! Unless they can lock up Halak! I just fear that Price would go somewhere else and play really well consistantly, and I've never been sold on European goalies! You couldn't pay me all the money in the world to be a GM, unless it was with the Leafs! That's because they have no problem signing coaches and GMs to long-term deals! I'd do my best to sink the franchise, then get fired, then sit at home for the next 2-3 years collecting a fat paycheck from them, ala Pat Quinn! Ottawa fans too blaming their recent losses on injuries! That may be true....to a point! When you have your entire top line out it would be a good reason for losing, if you lost games like 2-1 or 1-0, but 6-1? None of those players play defense or goal! I guess Murray will have to whine some more to the league about something! I get the Sens fans going, saying they should've reaquired Emery! I guess the bottom line is that when all is said and done, it's just a game, and we don't get any of the players' millions out of it! And as bad as some players may be, neither of us would ever have a chance against them in a one on one game of shinny! Price, Halak, Gustavsson or Cechmanek could be having their worst day, and we'd never get a puck past them! Nah, I think we might be able to squeak one past Roman!

| I know that, you know that, but try telling that to Leaf fans! Sabres in 5 sounds about right! Another area where the Habs might be able to match the Sabres is in speed! Like I said, "might"! Remember too, 2 of the 3 games between them this year have been decided by a goal, including a Habs win in OT! I still don't think they would win a series againt Buffalo though! That rhymes! Almost everything, especially in the playoffs, comes down to goaltending!

| I think when Price is on top of his game, he is probably as good as Miller, or at least very close to it! Dont pay attention to the fans, as I am sure there are many fans in Buffalo and area who would say the same only the other way around! I dont buy into playing the night before as an excuse! These players are almost machine-like in their conditioning, and many times after a game you see them riding the excercise bike for long stetches! Besides, what is the difference in sitting on a plane or sitting at home! If they get in late, let them sleep in and have a later skate! On different sports channels(TSN, Sportsnet, etc), they only seem to mention that fatigue(playiong the night before) being a factor in a team losing, when that team is Toronto! In case your wondering, I am still watching the game, as I am at my cousins, and his TV is right beside the computer! Also, if my punctuation is not as good as usual, its because his computer is set up much different than mine, and I dont know how to change some keys!

| There, back on my own 'puter now! Big loss for the Habs, a couple of softies get by Price! Martin refuses to blame Price for the loss, instead laying the blame on the ineffectiveness of the special teams! That's fine not to blame the goalie, but when he lets in some questionable goals, he has to know that it's not good enough! Blame should be spread equally, including the tender! After all, I think the goalie should know when he's not playing well! When the coach refuses to lay any blame on the goalie, then he'll get to thinking that he's playing alright, when clearly he's not! If Martin starts Price tomorrow, then Gainey should fire him before they even drop the puck! They're all adults(very highly-paid ones) and should be able to handle it when anybody(including the coach) says they're not playing well! Ruff sure isn't afraid to say when Miller has a bad game, and it hasn't hurt his goaltending! Same with Fonzie in New York, though sometimes it almost seems like he has a personal vendetta against any goalie he's ever coached! Come to think of it, it seems like he's had a personal vendetta against ninety percent of ANYBODY he's ever coached!

| looks to me price has lost his confidence.if they r trying to move halak which is want they seem to be doing ripping price maynot be a good idea you may lose him completly.when lindy has a tirade the media in buffalo dont make such a big deal of it like the media in montreal.if the fans dont like what he said they will be chanting martin has to go.just like they turned on carbo(the next great coach)last year.

| If myself or another Habs fan said that about any other team, reider, you would be all over it, calling the person something like another classless Habs fan or something lame like that(you have actually done that before)! So come on reider, call this person another classless Hab-hater! Come on reider, show me that you have at least a slight bit of impartiality! Never mind, thats asking way too much! You still chear for the Sabres, right reider! I dont know who this classless person cheers for, but have your SAbres won that Cup yet! No! Didnt think so! And dont give me this garbage about how the Habs havent won since 93, because I dont give a rats ass if its been a hundred years since they won, 24 is still a helluva lot more than zero! Even if they never win another Cup, at least we have had some past glory! I have nothing against the Sabres, and they ARE having a great year, but it doesnt matter where they end up because they always choke when it matters! You must litterally have only two brain cells, because only someone with that little grey matter would razz someone whos team has won 24 Cups, when that persons team has won the center of a donut! And remember, I didnt start this! But I will be the bad guy when all is said and done! I will be the classless Habs fan in the end! And reider and the no-name Hab hater will be some kind of heros, if only to themselves!

Yet, one time you posted a message stating the reason you started cheering for the Sabres was because of the "French Connection"! What gives? The last time I checked, Gilles, Rene and Rick all hailed from "La Belle Province"!
