| Canadian Musican Colin James once had a hit song in which the chorus went, "I just came back to say goodbye"! I thought about the post I put on here yesterday, and I've decided that's what I'm gonna do! There will be no return, and this is it, the final post by yours truly! The more I thought about it, the more I realized in fact that the C1 of '06-'07 doesn't exist anymore! I could never say some of the things on here now that I did back then! I just can't stir it up like I used to! I just don't have the desire or the heart to do it anymore! To reider and all the other Hab-haters, this decision has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with how they're playing! I'd feel the same way if they were first overall! In fact, I've left before when they were very high in the standings, and have returned when they were at the other end of them! reider, I don't get what you meant by your comment about my other post! Oh well, that's all water under the bridge now! It's been a blast talking hockey and stuff, even when we've got pissed off at each other, but I guess it wouldn't have been half as fun if we didn't at times! I also want reider and other Hab-haters to know that just because I cheer for them I'm not a bad person! I'm also very realistic(and always have been) about their chances! I may be a Habs fans, but I'm also a hockey fan! I could go on posting and talking and arguing about hockey and stuff, but that's not me! I've realized I could never be what I used to be, and I've never wanted to post unless I can make some sort of impact, and that's not gonna happen again! At one time, I was either really liked or really loathed, but now I don't think anybody really cares one way or another! That's fine, I can understand that, with all the times I left and returned! My posts for the last while have gotten so boring and predictable, I even bore myself! To be honest, I don't know how you folks put up with me this long! I could return someday, but that would make no sense at all! It would be just like it is now, which would be pointless! So for that reason alone, people will know that this actually is my very final post! Last and certainly not least, I wish nothing but the best to everyone involved with the speedway! To the drivers, crews, fans and staff(if I left anyone out, I'm very sorry!), have a great what's left of the off-season, and have a safe and fun 2010 racing season! For me, it's all been good! Hopefully, it has for all of you as well! Take care folks!

| it would be great if c1 stayed but he is right. he has not been the same c1 that used to post a cuple of years ago.

| I too wish that Chosen 1 would return. I also wish he'd return to the way he was just a few short years ago. Wow he used to get people all riled up and annoyed with some of his comments, but would also make people laugh their guts out too. I agree Chosen 1 shouldn't be on here arguing hockey or that type of thing but should be saturating this message board with his unique brand of humor and strangely exciting comments. The old Chosen 1 kept this board alive and made people take notice. WE NEED THE OLD CHOSEN 1 BACK!!!!

| c1 could make you angry laugh and think sometimes with a single post. he is such an interesting person it would be so much fun just to have about an hour long conversation with him just to pick his brain.

| if a habs fan said that about the fans other team reider would call that habs fan every name in the book. i dont really care who wins in hockey but to say that about any hockey fans is way over board. i think reider should post a message calling this person something like he would call a habs fan who would say that. c1 did what he always did, leave on his terms. he wasnt chased away by any body. the only pussy on here is the moron who posted before this. its really easy to talk brave and all at someone who doesnt post here. to make those kind of comments shows that this person needs professional help. i strongly sugest you get some because your not right in the head.

| I stated a while back that "Chosen 1" is one of those events that should only happen once in a lifetime. Having said that, that doesn't mean we won't ever see him post again on this website. I strongly believe that if he ever did return, he wouldn't be the same "Chosen 1" we have all grown to know and love. We would probably see the person that posted a few years ago, the person that angered, humoured, annoyed and affected in one way or another just about everybody who posted at the time. Just read his last post. He states that he doesn't want to post unless he can make "some sort of an impact". He talks about back in '06 and '07 alot. Those were the days when he was in his prime, if you will. I think there's a chance we'll see him posting again, just not the same "Chosen 1" we've seen the last year or so. You have to believe he won't post unless he can make that "impact" he was talking about.
