| Well it has now been almost three months since Chosen 1 left this website. This is probably the longest he's ever been gone. I suppose we all just have to get used to life on this message board without him because it doesn't look like he's coming back.

| It should be painfully obvious to everybody that it wasn't the real C1 who posted those messages, only somebody trying to stir the pot by saying that Montreal is going to win the cup. Reider, you should know more than anybody that the real Chosen 1 never talked like that. I'm sure that the person posting under his name isn't even a hockey fan. He or she doesn't even use capital letters and his or her grammar is really bad.

| There was something else I should mention, I forgot to mention that Montreal hasn't made it in yet they still need a point. I'm sure C1 would be well aware of that. I wish that people wouldn't always turn this into a hockey thing when involving C1. He has said many times that how Montreal is doing has nothing to do with him posting or not posting, and many of his goodbye and returning posts support those claims. Personally, I couldn't care less who wins the cup, though it would be nice to see a Canadian team win. I'm also very sure that many, many other people who read and post here could care less what team C1 roots for, but only wish he'd return.

| i know i could not care less who he roots for in hockey or any sport. he is like a messiah on this message board. at times he has literally brought this board to a standstill with messages he has posted. the sad part is the longer he stays away the more his legend grows. i personally wish he'd return and add to his legend by actually posting again. with c1 it doesn't matter if you love him or hate him you could never ignore him. he was never dull and that's what this board needs.

| even if they do play only 3 more, that will still be 5 more than buffalo. not bad for an 8th seed that no one gave a chance. if you are going to be eliminated it might as well be by the defending champs after eliminating the leagues number 1 team. much better than being eliminated by the 6th seed in round one.

| the cape were not the best team in the league they padded there points total by beating up thw weaker teams in a weaker division like the canes cats lightning and thrashers.if they were in the same divison as our sabres and habs i doubt they would have topped the 100 point mark.

| it looks like your saying that im c1. not true, im just another canadiens fan. i dont think theyll beat pittsburgh either, too tough to beat a team like wash then turn right around and beat the defending champs. i hope so but im not all that hopeful. oh well taking out the president trophy winner was good. but you never know. going to go watch the game now.

| the thing that i would to know and i am sure many others, is where are all these habs fans reider keeps talking about. he says they are like cockroaches. there are supposed to be sooooo many. where are they on here. why were they not on here gloating when the habs took out the caps. after the habs won game two vs pitt. you would think that at least a few of them would make their way on to here. i believe chosen 1 asked that question once and no one had an answer. well i have an answer. i have figured that out. reider likes to shoot the bull. i would bet the habs fans he does know are not half as bad as he says. if they are truly like cockroaches and as bad as people say, all it would take is for one of them to find their way on to this message board, then that person would tell a bunch of others and the next thing you know this website would be infestated with habs fans. a while back chosen 1 even put out a call to all those habs fans to join in on the conversation but not one responded. strange isnt it.

| i wont tell them about the message board because i want to get away from them.i had one tell me today the only reason the pens won the last game was crosby was sooking to the refs about hal gill holding him so they called a penalty on gill the pens scored on the p.p.to win the game.i told him the only way could keep up with sid was to hold onto him.he said crosby was the biggest cry baby in the league.never ever seen a hab player protest about the refs have you?

| very true. i would rather have a player on my team that maybe cries at times than someone who doesnt care. at least the cry babies want to win. satan couldnt stick with sabres. but had no problem sticking it to them.

| why r you cutting down the sabres LOL.they were not that bad.the bruins r on a roll and playing good.as for satan he was always a streaky player gets on a roll you cant stop him.but when he is bad he is awfull.playing for a new contract for next season to is a little motivation.much rather see bruins win then the filthy habs.

| First, we sent the great 8 packing. Now, Sid the kid has been dispatched to the golf course. 2 rounds down, 2 to go. Even if we don't win another game, how many of the so-called experts thought we'd be playing well into May? How many honestly though we'd win at least 8 playoff games? Or be playing at least 18? I hope Boston and Philly beat the holy hell out of each other Friday. A few OT periods would be nice too.

| I believe Chosen 1 said one time that it was all the polititions idea to separate. They tried to brainwash the people but couldnt do it. Listen to the fans at the Bell Centre during the Canadian anthem. Dont sound like they want to separate to me. Fans there during international play are also very loud.....also cheering for Canada. They have also booed the American anthem at times. I dont agree with that but it shows that they are very patriotic. Unless I m missing something here, it kind of looks like that patriotism is directed towards Canada.

I tend to agree because anybody from Quebec I've ever met want nothing to do with separation. During games in Montreal during international competition, the crowds cheer wildly for any team Canada goal. I don't recall twinkle twinkle little star being played during any of the goal celebrations. If the crowd will cheer for anything before the game, then why not cheer wildly for the American anthem too? I'm not trying to stir up things and like I said I'm not very political, but some of the comments by people regarding Quebec are inaccurate and filled with inconsistencies. Like I said, I cheer for the Montreal Canadiens. Like C1, I also post on youtube. I've encountered Buffalo Sabres fans there who have had some very derogatory things to say about Canada, yet you(reider) still cheer for them. Just thought I'd point that out. Like I said, I can only imagine what they would have to say about Nfld (if they knew about it).

| I have another question for you reider. Why would it matter if Quebec did separate? All that would happen is that they would become a different country. You cheer for Buffalo, which is in the United States, which is also another country. So why should it matter.

| it has nothing to do with hockey.it has to do with nl being treated as 2nd class by the people or the goverment of qc.they r trying anyway they can to keep much needed money from our great province.money that is badly needed to keep our province and its people a good life style.money needed for health care education infastructure like roads water and sewer.just to name a few.maybe it has a little to do with hockey to this money helps build new buildings like rinks and other recreation facilities.surely u cant be against our people and our kids and grand kids having a better future.

| Hydro-Quebec earned $1.44B on exports in 1st 1/4.If they would cooperate with NL.Maybe NL.could start exporting some hydro power to and earn some much needed coin for NL.That is certainly needed.

| What does this have to do with reider's two brain cells? I don't know much about this, but maybe Quebec doesn't share with Nfld because they know the way you guys think about them! Just a suggestion! Dr Phil made a comment once that was very poignant! He said that no matter how flat a pancake is, there are still two sides to it!
