| I just thought I'd clear the air a bit regarding comments I made about Chris Pronger which some took exception to! First off, never once did I say that Pronger isn't a great player, because he is, something which is evident when looking at his many accomplishments! What I don't like is the flippant, arrogant attitude he's displayed at times during press conferrences during this year's finals! Like people have said, he can back it up with his play, and he can and has! However, the problem I have with that is there have been many, many athletes in many sports who have accomplished much more than Pronger, yet display little or no attitude! Someone said to me that if Pronger played for the Habs, Habs fans would ignore all the other stuff(arrogance, dirty play, etc) and say what a great player he is! The thing is, when a player plays for a team, any team in any sport, fans of that team tend to overlook alot of stuff and tend to only focus on his skills, etc! I can only imagine how the fans in Philly would react to Pronger if he played for Chicago! To a certain extent, I'm no different than those fans! But I still wouldn't like Pronger's arrogance, as I never cared for players like Patrick Roy's arrogant attitude either! I mentioned Pronger's attitude towards the media lately, and believe me, I've said what I think about the media a few times in the past! However, I think the questions Pronger's been asked are fair and honest, yet he keeps displaying this fippant and arrogant attitude! To me, he's not THAT good to have this much attitude! I don't know, maybe he's trying to be the "bad guy", or trying to be the next Jeremy Roenick on the mic! Well Chris, you got a ways to go there! At least JR is funny! You never heard Gretzky or Lemieux or even Messier talk the way Pronger has at any time in their careers! It is also possible the way he's been is starting to affect his play, as he was a minus-5 last game! But he IS a great player and will be much better in game 6! It's kind of strange though, because the more he's yapped, the worse his play has gotten! If I was the coach, I'd tell him to keep his yap shut! There, I said what had to say and we'll see how the rest of the series plays out! GO HAWKS GO!

| I also want to add that I found the "Chrissy Pronger" thing in the Chicago paper absolutely freakin' hilarious! I guess it's true what they say....sometimes you get back what you give! Oh, and one other thing....I can hear all the Hab-haters saying how upset I'd be if a paper displayed a picture of a Habs player supposedly wearing a dress with their name changed and all that stuff! Well, if they had been as arrogant as Pronger has been the last little while, I'd say they deserve it, regardless of their team!

| reider, you make it sound like I'm leaving or something! Remember. I said I'd stick around "at least" until the finals are over! Who knows, I might stick around for another year, or I may stop posting tomorrow! I just want to make sure it's what I want do, because forever is a long time to be away! I still have a few miles to go before the tank hits empty! What a game! What a series! Fans of both teams should be very proud! Game 7 would've been a doozy, but I'm just as happy to see it end in 6! Kind of a strange play, because it appeared as though Kane was the only one who knew it went in! Now, fans of every team who has ever won a Cup can chant "SIX-TY SEV-EN" at the Leafs!

| "Bobblehead"? Doesn't make much sense! I don't deny that Lapierre can be chippy at times and gets under people's skin, but aren't those the type of players you've stated many times a team has to have? Besides, Lapierre isn't arrogant when talking to reporters!

| wasnt maxine the one making the funny faces and moving his head like a bobble head doll at the flyers in the last round.any kind of that foolishness is far worst than snubbing or poking fun at the media.or being arrogant to the media.after all wasnt it the media who was reporting all negative and maybe untrue stuff coming out of the flyer room,a riff betwween prongers side and richards side.they didnt do to bad if such a riff is true.if the media treated me like that i would tell them to fuck off and not answer any of there questions.some of them media people dont know the difference between hockey stick and a chop sticks.

| So, why does Pronger go up on the podium in the first place! He should just tell them to f-off then! The questions being asked in which Pronger acted all arrogant and stuff were fair and honest! You are one to talk about the media reporting on stories that are yet to be proven to be fact! Every little media story about the tiniest negativity towards the Habs and you act as though it must be the gospel truth! You make fun of it and make a big joke out of it! So the story on a Pronger-Richards fiff must be true! From what I heard, Pronger has ruffled more than a few teamates feathers throughout his career! If this story involved two Habs players, you would be making fun of it and saying its the absolute truth! As for Lapierre, remember former Sabre Michael Grosek! The referees had to tell him to stop embarrasing himself and the game after some of his antics in the playoffs one year! Players have done much worse than what Lapierre did!

| Besides, a riff between two teamates is not all that unusual, as some of the best teams throughout history have had players that could not stand each other!

| reider, sometimes I just cannot figure you out! You say you get sick of hearing people talk about the Habs, including me, yet you have mentioned them or their players in about your last half dozen posts! I very rarely ever mention them unless someone else brings up the subject! I will hardly ever mention them unless someone else does first!

| That was a very entertaining game! 3-2 Hershey going home, but the home team hasn't won a game yet! It was never my intentions to make anybody sound stupid, and I never knew that's what you were trying to do!

| I actually saw that a few years back somewhere where they had a less-than-flattering name for every team! The Habs were referred to as the Have-nots! The Leafs were called the Make beleafs!
