| As the 2010 commissioner of the Chaldean Football League, I would like to thank everyone who attended the rookie tryouts yesterday. Thirty-three players are competing for roughly eight spots. It has never been easy to find new talent but this year was clearly an exception.
All are welcome to attend the 2010 draft at Sylvan Lanes on Wednesday, July 14th, 9 pm. Address is 2355 Orchard Lake Road in Sylvan Lake. Please forward this to those who should attend.
This is the first year the CFL coaches are drafting with a live broadcast. We will be streaming a video feed of the draft thru the many flat screens in the bar area. So grab a pizza, a brew and a seat and let the debate, speculation and prognostication begin.
Be advised that absolutely NO players will be allowed entrance in the draft room. This policy is non-negotiable and applies to everyone.
Again, with only eight spots to fill many of you may not get drafted. Our league is notorious for being ultra-competitive on the field and even having your name selected is a challenge.

| AT, How come there are no games on 8-29? Is that because of labor day? If that is the case, we should have 9-5 off because labor day falls on the 6th. Just trying to help you out cause I know you need all the help you can get.

| Chuck hasn't stopped drinking since Black's 4th round pick was announced. Tarik called me today and said he thought Nick Ammori was the guy that played on White for Mike Zeer last year, the guy that had all those TDs and INTs run back for TDs.
I explained to him that that was Sean and he put his face in his hands and said “Oh shit, so who the hell is Nick Ammori?”
I said “The 9th round dude that Nate has been hiding at LB all these years”
