White Comes Back to Beat Yellow, 18-13

Offensive Player of the Game: Joey Jonna, 14-21 for 198 yards 3 TDs, 1 INT
Defensive Player of the Game: Timmy Acho, 4 rec for 103 yards 1 TD, 1 tackle, 3 INTs

Preparing for the early game is tough for any CFL player, but after your friends throw you a bachelor party Saturday night, it’s time to rise and shine. Rise to the occasion and shine is exactly what Timmy Acho did. Acho, who was a big time target for White QB and Coach Joey Jonna didn’t look sluggish on the field considering the amount of alcohol consumed the night before.

Yellow took the lead early in the first half as QB and Coach Natham Karrumi schemed to beat White. Karrumi’s primary targets were Sean Mattia, 3 rec for 109 yards, 1 TD and Chris Roumayeh, 3 rec for 65 yards and 1 TD. Roumayeh, who found his way to the field via jet-ski from a not too distant island, made a dazzling catch and run with a nice cut back making three defenders miss. On a key fourth down play later in the game, Karrumi found Roumayeh in the back of the end zone, but Roumayeh landed out of bounds and White took over on downs.

White was once again led to victory by Jonna who found a way to awaken his team at the half. The entertainingly vocal Jordan Rassam was notably silent throughout the game, and decided to break out of his shell with 3:11 to go in the fourth. Good timing considering White scored on that drive to take the lead and close out the game.

Jonna found contributions from Nick Hermiz, 4 rec for 44 yards and 1 TD and Rookie of the Year candidate, Mike Sesi, 5 rec for 43 yards and 1 TD.

The story in this game was White’s defense led by Acho. He finished the game and thwarted Yellow’s late drive with his third INT, then looked at his soon-to-be wife and smiled. Congrats to Timmy and Sandy!

White 4-1 will play Blue 1-4 next and Yellow 2-3 will play Red 1-4

Game Notes…Hermiz also added 3 tackles to the game…Peter Namou, another Rookie of the Year candidate, had 5 tackles and 1 INT…Mark Adamo registered a sack, his first of the season…Chris Denha does not eat catfish…Fearless JK had 4 tackles…Sesi made his TD catch over Chris Sesi (no relation that I know of, but if their families are from Telkaif, I’m assuming they’re related)…Rassam registered zero in the stat books, a first in his stellar career.

Black Tops Red, Remains Undefeated, 20-12

Offensive Player of the Game: Tarik Kama, 8-14 for 116 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT and 2 rush for 78 yards
Defensive Player of the Game: John Paul Namou, 5 tackles and 2 INTs

If anyone wants to ask how Black QB and Coach Tarik Kama has led this team to perfection thus far all they have to do is watch him play. Kama, who is without question having a League MVP year, continues to dazzle even though he is 38 years old. He prepares his team to follow his lead, gets contributions from his talented core and continues to prove Black is the team to beat.

Red Coach Anthony Toma, also celebrating his wedding day next Sunday, was without QB Mike Akrawi and lost newly acquired Nolan Karrumi with what appears to be a meniscus issue with his right knee. Toma did his best to keep the game close, but it wasn’t enough to stop Black.

Dylan Putrus, 4 rec for 39 yards and 3.5 sacks, delivered a ‘big man’ block on Toma that sent him to the ground. After a minute or so in obvious pain, Toma walked off the field as required by league rules. He then called a timeout just to get back into the game and compete. That’s the definition of a CFL veteran who will do just about anything for his team. Rookies – take note and Congratulations to Anthony and Brooke!

Black 5-0 will play Green 2-3 next and Red 1-4 will play Yellow 2-3

Game Notes… Namou had a rough day on the offensive side with some key drops but learned you can still contribute by playing good defense…Joey Foumia added 2 sacks…Thank you to Nick Sarafa for keeping stats on this game.

Green Makes the Right Move at QB to Beat Blue, 14-6

Offensive Player of the Game: Mike Zeer, 11-14 for 120 yards 1 TD, 2 INTs
Defensive Player of the Game: Justin Orow, 3 tackles, 1 INT, Defensive TD

The trade made by Green Coach Tony Attisha to acquire Mike Zeer proved to be the right move on this particular day. Zeer, who has played QB before, did a good job of managing the offense en route to his first victory as a QB this year. More importantly for Zeer of course, is winning bragging rights on his younger brother, Blue QB and Coach, Chris Zeer.

This game was more about Blue’s inability to move the ball and score than it was about Green’s overall play. Credit Green’s rush, they sent three almost every play and Chris couldn’t find his rhythm, held the ball too long and had four passes batted down. Green’s rush features Derek Putrus, Pat Sesi and Rookie of the Year candidate, Anthony Yaldo who added 3 rec for 34 yards 1 TD, 4 tackles and 1 sack.

Chirs will have to find a way to move the ball around, get his linemen involved and stay committed to his game plan if Blue is going to improve. The only highlight for Chris was finding veteran Peter Rabban on a fly route over Attisha for a 15 yard score. He also got a good contribution from gamer Dani Jajou, 4 rec for 73 yards and 1 INT.

Green 2-3 will play Black 5-0 next and Blue 1-4 will play White 4-1

Game Notes…Sesi knocked down three passes for Green…Rookie Vinny Kejbou added 4 tackles for Blue… Orow had a key INT he returned for a 40 yard winning TD…Puturs added a sack in the endzone for Green which gave them a safety…Thank you to Fearless JK for keeping stats on this game.

Next week is the CFL bye week. Plans by some include wedding nuptials, out of town vacations, a Kairos retreat, Cass Lake action, recreational gaming (open with type), a little relaxation, another blockbuster trade and of course, time to heal injuries and bruised egos.

The trade deadline is approaching and trades are still in effect until the start of the early game on September 5th.

Things to consider:

Nader Jiddou has played on three teams in four games, is it possible he’ll move again?

Is Attisha content with Zeer at QB or will he make another move?

Will the real Mike Akrawi ever show up?

Will Black continue their perfection?

Where’s Karl Dallou’s “ “, the story isn’t the same without you shuck.

Rookies, many hands make light work…cones, flags and garbage.

Will Dylan take the redeye back from Vegas?

Will Timmy Acho’s honeymoon plans wreck White’s momentum?

Will Natham Karrumi let Peter Namou play offense over his brother-in-law?

Do Dirty and Trock get their hair cut by the same blind barber? (burbur) LOL

Will Art of Strength ever pay off for Attisha?

Which Sesi will have a better second half: Pat, Mike or Chris?

Where’s Amer?

Where’s the legend Russell Smith? $50 a win and a case of beers, right? $500 would be worth it now.

Does TyTy love coaching the WCFL more than he loves playing the CFL? “Oh ok shuck, I got this one, brashed baba, to me, in my opinion, I’m just sayin, huh, are you for real shuck, what kind of team is that shuck, they’re all hadeed, oh TyTy’s a genius, shuck they’re good, but shuck, brashed baba he’s the smartest."

Is there a better league to be a part of?

Wrong Andover football guy, an extra point conversion is an untimed down and does not count.

You dont see an INT next to Tom Brady if he gets picked for a 2 pt conversion.

Thank You

Mark

I had a few guys in mind, but figured they would by playing for second anyway.

Mohawk, Derek P, Dylan, Norm, Mike Zeer, Saber but he retired and a few others but what's the point? They couldn't hold a candle to yours truly.

Besides, like Nate says the message board has been pretty gay overall this year.

Tony, the mouth of the East, got his pissy lips sown up.

Nate, has too much going on to open his mouth, plus his team sucks big dip.

Joey Jonna, has always been a quire.

Chris Zeer, doesn’t have shit to say unless someone says it to him first. Plus would you open your mouth if you were born to lose?

Trock, can’t Fin read or write. So you know his dumbass isn’t going to say a Fin word on here. He is so stupid he still waits for the dial tone on his cell to make a call.

Jordan, is a joke and thinks his vocaillllary is the shiznet. He will piss on you and your middle initial because Ice-cube says so in a song.

Chris Denha is a bottom feeder.

Branden Yono is on my team but is a big pissy anyway you slice it.

Norm, plays little the MVP of Blue. Hahahahaha Blue has an MVP. What a joke

Nader, can’t beat Fearless JK off a block.

Amer, has been quiet since he got married. His wife told him it’s his ass if he posted a peep.

Joey Kejbou, what a joke and shitty trade by me to pick up this loser.

Dylan, pusssssy

Bob, is gone and done like the other little bithhchches before him.

Russ, is swimming with the fishes

Nolan, is nursing his big toe. He cost us the game last week, pulling a Trock against Trock.

Mike Akrawi, MIA and when he shows up he completes more to the other team anyway.

Jr Kizy, the most over rated QB of all time.

Justin Orow, should pull another 2007 and make like a tree and leaf the league again.

Scott Acho, should go to Brazil with his brother Anthony to play golf with him over there.

Ernest, should dig a hole… scratch that he would be digging for days. Ernest, should grow a tree.

Sinan, needs another brace for his face.

All the Rookies, should go get tramp stamp tattoos that say “I am thankful to be playing in the CFL”

Ty Ty, needs to show up when he can if he can.

Timmy Acho, had 3 INTS last week and he is getting married, so I have nothing to say.

Dani, is playing well, so everyone give him a hand across the face.

Mike Zeer, MVP of the league for beating Blue… hahahahahahahahaha fuck blue.

Ray Lousia, will read this in 9 weeks.

Derek Dickow, talks so much people feel like he should be his own country.

Steve Sigmani, plays like a girl and would have been traded 30 times if any other team would have him.

JP, is a loser.

Nick Ammori, is a woman playing a man’s game.

Danny Shaba, HI 5

Sal, has good hair… if it were 1983

Lance Samona, is too lazy to respond.

Just in case I forgot anyone, F you 2!

Happy Mother’s Day you little CFL bithchchches

Go Red! All day!

Since we're talking about stats....does Tony have any catches this season? I know he has no TD's, Less than 100 yards, and a few drops, but does he have any catches at all?

And if it wasnt scored on Nick Ammori, I wouldnt say anything, but I scored against that woman when yellow played black. No need to adjust stats, just want to point out that Nick is a fag.
