| August 27/2010....the day the final message by Chosen 1 will be posted on the Avondale Speedway message board! I made a mistake by returning this time, but I didn't realize what a HUGE mistake it was! I guess I just had to see if I could recapture some of the old magic, but it wasn't, and it's not, meant to be. It's like a person who leaves and comes back and retires and unretires so many times that people stop caring. It's also like an athlete that holds on a lttle too long, trying to capture just a little more glory, maybe make that one last big play. The truth is, that rarely happens in real life, just in the movies and stuff. That's what I've done, I've held on waaaaaay too long, trying to post that one final funny or controversial message. If I DO have any kind of a legacy of some sort of greatness that will be left on here, I've decided to leave now before it is tarnished completely by my hanging on for too long. What's the only thing worse than getting negative responses to your posts? Not getting any responses at all! That shows that people have stopped caring! I have alot of great memories of the times I had on here, it was alot of fun. So leaving now for good is the only way to save all of that. Like I said, it was wrong for me to return. In fact, it was as wrong as wrong can be! I would like to apologize for comments I made on another post regarding Newfoundlanders, you know, the one where I said it's so easy a Newfie could do it, and the one following it. I was joking, but those comments were wrong to say and I'm sorry for posting them. Kind of ironic, but when I first posted a few years ago, I really didn't care if anyone responded and that's all people did, good and bad(mostly bad). Here we are now, I'm trying to get folks to respond, and almost nobody does! Oh well, I knew this day was coming. I thought it would be much sooner, so I guess it's been a better run than even I thought it would be! There is nothing else left to say. So, everybody be good! More importantly, be good to one another! For the absolute, totally, beyond a shadow of a doubt final time....goodbye!

| as a c1 fan i have to say i'm happy in a way that c1 left. the reason is because he is nothing more than a shell of what he used to be. now he isn't close to being as funny as he used to be. we will always have the memories of him when he used to be the biggest and funniest thing on this board. i hate to say this but i even stopped caring about messages that he posted. he was right if he stayed he would've destroyed his legend and legacy.

| i agree he could return but would probaly use the name chosen 1. he probably would'nt be the same c1 though if you know what i mean.

| Even with Chosen 1 being a shell of his former self, his posts are still a hundred times more entertaining than anything else around here. C1 at 10 percent is better than anybody else at 100 percent.
