| C'mon Newfies, where is your pride? I've insulted you "people" over and over, yet nobody stands up for themselves. Why? I've heard so many times about how east-coast people don't have much, but are fiercely proud people who take no shit from anybody, especially outsiders. I'm an outsider, yet I'm able to say whatever the hell I want and you barely respond. Proud people? What a joke that is. Then again, I'd be ashamed to admit I'm from Newfoundland too. I'd rather say I'm from any other province, especially the great province of Quebec. Now there's an awesome province with friendly, intelligent people. I've read many posts from the last few years, and all I can say is you people whine and cry like little girls. Always bitching about something. Actually, it IS kind of funny at times. I guess every family has at least one member that's an embarrassment to the rest of the family. Newfoundland is Canada's red-haired step-child.

| Frogs dont complain.If they didnt get there way they were going to seperate from the country.Now thats dumb.Wasnt the vote pretty much split down the middle.That would mean there is just as many dumb frogs as smart ones.

| They probably wanted to get away from a country that contains a province such as Newfoundland. The ones that voted to separate simply couldn't take any more. The ones that voted not to separate probably figured, what the hell, we've put up with the brain-dead Newfies this long.

| The original question I asked is, "where's the pride"? I guess there is none. I know that Newfoundland doesn't have very much, but I thought it at least had some pride. You do realize that without it, you now have absolutely NOTHING.
