| The Sabres played like dirt bags, but the Habs played through their dirty tactics and the refs to pick up a valuable point on the road.

| In hockey, the breaks everything has a funny way of evening out before all is said and done. A word of advice for the Sabres and their fans. What goes around, comes around.

| A dozen times a game? It must be quite an experience watching hockey through the eyes of a Hab-hater. A clear hit from behind. If the Habs do that, they're "dirt bags". When Max Pac took that shot in the arm and side and was holding his arm, two Sabres crosschecked him in the arm in the area it was injured, once after the whistle. You seem to have no problem pointing out any questionable tactic by a Habs player. Admit it. Your Sabres played like dirt bags. But when your team does it, or any team does it against the Habs, it's all part of the game, right?

| he is standing in front of the net on the pp what are they suppose to do let him stand there any habs player would have done the same.maybe when they gave him the love taps you are talking about they were behind him and didnt see the puck hit him.talking about breaks and carma wasnt it pac who pushed chara after a winning goal in ot.he scored friday night against the srns so he cant be hurt that bad.are we talking about the same guy all the habs fans down this way were calling a cry baby when he said he wouldnt play for the habs a few months back if he couldnt get top 6 mins.

| You know reider, I was kinda surprised the Sabres played the way they did! Habs/Sabres games aren't usually that chippy, from either side. I'm glad Pacioraty is alright. The TSN panal all thought Weber should've got five for the hit, but I don't know. However, players have gotten majors and/or suspended for much less. The one part of the game I took great exception to was the penalty to Gomez late in the third, especially after a Habs player was cross-checked from behind into the boards only seconds before that! Then Gomez gets penalized for a push! As for the boards causing the injury, come on, reider! I don't know about "Habs Fan" or how he or anyone else will react, but you have to know I've been doing this(posting) way too long to be taken in by that! Good to chat again! Let's just hope I get enough positive responses to stick around!

| Don't let anyone say that Habs fans aren't among the classiest in all of sports! The ovations for Saku were absolutely awesome! Good game, would've been nice to pull it off, but a very valuable point! You always want to win, but rallying from down by two late like that and the single point isn't so bad! However, blowing a two-goal lead and losing in OT or in the shootout and that single point isn't quite as satisfying! Don't know what it is with Pacioretty, but I'd have Wisniewski shooting pucks at him in practice!

| Yeah, I guess you're right about Pacioretty and karma! Chara has had it coming for a while, though. The thing is, Pacioretty has scored 3 goals in the last 2 games! Karma must've decided that it's not a Chara fan, either! You mentioned to "Habs Fan" that the Habs must be made of porcelain. If that's the case, then I'd hate to think what the Red Wings are made of!

| Seriously though, I know injuries are part of the game, but their situation is ridiculous! I can remember back in about 2-3 seasons in the late 90s or early 2000s the Habs had serious injury issues during that time, but nothing like what the Wings are going through now! In fact, I don't recall a team, in any sport at any time, having this many injuries, especially to star players! Alot of people say injuries are no excuse, but with the Wings this season I think an exception can be made!

| The turning point in this game was when the officials entered the building! Yeah, I know, they called some penalties on the Flyers in the third, but that's what drives coaches nuts! The Refs suck the life out of a team with very marginal calls early on, in this case three of them, the team scores some PP goals! Then, as the game goes on and it's obvious the team has had the life sucked out of them, the bastards in stripes call some on the opposition to make the stats look more even! Then again, very few teams over the years have EVER gotten a fair shake in the zoo that is known as Philladelphia! The Flyers are a good team that shouldn't need help from the referees! Or, are they a good team because they constantly GET HELP from them? If I was the Flyers, I'd keep an eye open for that Kharma that's been mentioned on here a few times lately!

| Reider, you know as well as anyone that I rarely if ever complain about the officiating, even when the Habs play! Subban's slash was so vicious, he probably should get about 10 games for it! A one-handed tap to the arm! Actually, the Habs outplayed the Flyers most of the first period! To me, it appeared as though the Refs noticed that as well, so they thought, "whoa, we can't have this, so let's put some white sweaters in the box and bail out the Philly Flyers!" Hey reider, you don't wanna talk about anyone complaining about things when it comes to hockey! I remember one time you said the Habs send somebody into the visiting team's dressing room in the middle of the night to measure hockey sticks! I laughed so hard when I read that! Yeah, it probably should've been goalie interference on the tying goal, but watching Whiney Ruff throw a tantrum is pretty funny!

| You are right, the bottom three teams in the East are very close! The West is even tighter and involves more teams! A team can have a good week and can literally go from about 12th to 5th or 6th! With the exception of Edmonton, any team from 9th to 14th can make it! I was frustrated when I made those comments about the Habs-Flyers game. The Refs WEREN'T that good, though! I guess everybody has that crutch to lean on every once in a while!

| Not only in the AHL, but it can be brutal at times around here with the Junior A and B! The thing is, the worst ones seem to move up! We don't need European referees over here! Jeez, the players are barely allowed to hit now!
