| The Habs are usually pretty exciting to watch! In an 82-game season, you're gonna get some dogs from every team from time to time! Besides, I'd rather win boring than lose exciting any day!

| In '93, 10 OT wins....I'd say that was pretty exciting! Last season, in game 7, out-flew the high-flying Pens! Hey, you gotta be able to play defence these days! Teams like the Caps will never win much until they figure out you can't just go out and out-score teams any more! The days of the mid-80's Oilers are long gone! Even the a fore mentioned Pens won the Cup in '09 with a 2-1 sqeaker in game 7! The finals last year was high-scoring at times, but I attribute that to sub-par goaltending more than anything else! You have nothing to talk about! With the exception of the 06-07 season, your Sabres haven't exactly been the epitome of high-flying excitment! Hey reider, it doesn't matter how you win, whether it's from shutting teams down or by out-gunning them....the W's are all that matters!

| could only find 2 seasons to gloat about you forgot when they got beat by the flames in the final.3 quality seasons since the 80's for the mighty habs.the only difference in the sabres and habs since the 80's roy stole one in 93 other than there is no big difference.

| No, I was simply pointing out a couple of examples where they didn't play games or series that could be considered boring! You want me to "gloat" about other seasons? Why, so you can say I'm just another gloating Habs fan? But, seeing as how YOU were the one that brought it up....86-87, Adams Division Champions! 87-88, Adams Division Champions! 91-92, Adams Division champions! 01-02, upset first-place Bruins in playoffs! 03-04, rallied from 3-1 deficit to eliminate Bruins! 07-08, Eastern Conference champions! Then there was last season! Roy "stole" the Cup in '93, did he? If that's the case, then alot of goalies have "stolen" Cups over the years! The Sabres entered the league in 1970....during the time they've been in the league, the Habs have won 8 Cups, the Sabres, the centre of a donut! The Habs have a 3-2 playoff record against them during that time! I'm sure I'll be called "gloating" and that sort of thing now, but facts are facts! And, like I said, YOU brought this up! Did you not think I'd have a response for this? C'mon, is that the best you can come up with? You let me down, big time! reider, I'll have a response for ANYTHING ANYBODY says! This here? This is like taking candy from a baby!

I've said many times that for a person to "hate" any sports team, that person has to be bitter, jealous and childish! So my suggestion to you is for you to get over yourself!

| Okay, I'll respond to the post as if it were directed to me, because in all likelihood it is! So, you say I must really think something of myself? Not sure what you mean by "think something". Are you saying I have a high opinion of myself? Well, I have confidence in what I say and do, if that's what you mean! Nothing wrong with that, as long as a person doesn't walk around with their head in the clouds, thinking their better than everybody else! If that's what you're implying with me, you couldn't be more wrong! I feel that I am no better or no worse than any other person walking this earth! It's okay to have confidence, as long as it doesn't turn into arrogance!

| looks like another fan.most of the habs fans i know are the height of ignorance and think alot of themselves.didny you see the habs game today.the habs are on a pretty good rol they played good in my oinion but i nevr seen all the game.the devils are playing real good now.at the final buzzer when the game was over and the habs lost they were booed.come on boy one lost and they act like that there not fans they are idiots.

| I never said that Habs fans aren't extremely demanding! I get pissed at times with the fans as well, but you have to remember that in Montreal, the Habs are rated higher than God in most fans' lists of important people or entities! I'm not saying that's right or wrong, but that's the way it is and always will be as long as the Montreal Canadiens continue to exist!

| Jeez, the Habs must really be playing well for you, a self-confessed Hab-Hater to say they are! It must cause you a great deal of emotional distress for you to say that! As for the Devils, they are the most dangerous team in the league right now, and I'll tell you why. First off, they may be in last place or close to it, but they are definetaly not a last-place team! If not for the many injuries they suffered earlier on, they'd be right in the thick of the playoff battle, if not battling for the division lead! They are now pretty healthy, and in my opinion Lemaire is a much better coach than MacLean! With all that being said, they are now a much, much better team that is playing loose and with no pressure! They still have a really, really long shot at making the playoffs, but the early-season hole they put themselves in, plus the fact they would have to pass a whole bunch of teams, has them where they are now!

If I said that about the Habs "owning" another team, you'd be all over it, saying I'm "gloating", saying I'm another "typical Habs fan", that sort of garbage! Come on reider, tell this person off, say how he/she is gloating! You know, sometimes I feel like really letting loose on here! You know, say what I REALLY feel about things! Saying how I REALLY feel about alot of you! Remember that pre-Christmas post of '06? I could make that sound like a love-note! The thing is, I never say a word or razz anybody about their team, yet people talk trash about mine! I could see if I deserved it, but I say nothing about anybody's team, unless I'm provoked! I could never say a word about anyone's team even I wanted, because the childish, bitter, frustrated Hab-Haters would never allow it! Someone talks shit about my team, I respond, and whaddaya know, I'm the bad guy and the "typical Habs fan" out of the whole deal! Sometimes I wonder why I even bother, why I even started posting again! Then, I stop and think, I guess I just have to realize what I'm dealing with! I can guarentee you all one thing....you would not like an angry C1 posting on here!

| the devils do have good record against the habs.i was gloating all week about the sabres owning the leafs.what can i say all the habs fans i know are all the time bragging about how great they are and most of them cant name ten players on the team.they dont know the difference between a hockey stick and a pogo stick.i asked one guy who was the captain and he sad saku.
