Only two years removed from their cup win. Should be battling the Flyers for top spot in the division. Won the division last season.

injuries dont help probably 2 of the top 10 players in the world out of the line up.10 regulars last night.if what you say about 2 years since last cup how come the hawks are struggling less than 1 year from winning the cup.

Hawks had a major turnover this year, while the Pens have pretty much the same line-up(when healthy) that won it all in 2009. That was a very gutsy effort by the Pens last night, but don't hold your breath waiting for the CBC announcers to give any opponent of the Leafs much credit.

Danny Gallivan and Dick Irvin were two of the most unbiased announcers ever to broadcast a hockey game. You should never talk about announcers being biased. Rick Jeanneret(of your Sabres) is one of, if not the most, biased announcers in any sport.

I did't mind Jim Hughson when he used to broadcast Canucks games. However, the same fate befell him that befalls all hockey announcers when hired by CBC. They all become Leafs fans. Other Canadian sports channels are Leaf-biased as well, but not to the extent of CBC. Don Cherry has said on the air many times that the Leafs are his team. On more than one occasion, Ron Maclean has referred to the Leafs as "we" and "us". Try referring to Montreal or any other team that way and we'll see how long they're on the air. We'll see how many times either of them have their contracts renewed. Before you say I'm just another typical Habs fan, let me say that I'm speaking on behalf of the other 4 Canadian teams as well. The CBC Toronto bias is sickening.

Why isnt cbc headquarters located in cbc why not cheer for the home team.the rds guys are hab fans whats wrong with that.as for rick i only have 1 thing to say.mmmmmmmmaaaaayyyyyy ddddaaaayyyyyyyy mmmmaaaayyyyyy ddddaaaaaayyyyyyy.all dick irvin would talk about was what his dad did as a coach and talk about what happened 50 years ago instead of doing the game.

reider, great to see you're still your old Hab-hating self! The thing is, RDS are the official broadcasters of the Montreal Canadiens! Regardless of where the CBC offices are located, they are NOT the official broadcasters of the Toronto Maple Leafs! I will admit that the RDS play-by-play guy gets a little more excited when the Habs score, but that's natural when you're the broadcaster of a team! It is nowhere to the extent of Rick Jeanerret when the Sabres score compared to an opposition goal, though! Many broadcasters are biased for their teams. Ever hear that Haynes guy that does the Colorado games? Panthers announcers almost make me nauseous! I got a kick out of Bob Cole and Harry Neale broadcasting game 5 of the finals in '93! As time wore down in the third and it was obvious the Habs were gonna win the Cup, it was absolutely hilarious listening to them! It was painfully obvious to anyone listening that they would've preferred to be anywhere but the Montreal Forum at that time! You say if you don't like the Toronto bias on CBC then don't watch it? Oh, but I LOVE listening to them when the Leafs are losing! I find it absolutely hilarious when the Leafs are losing, and the announcers, and Cherry and MacLean after the game, are practically tripping over themselves trying to come up with excuses for the latest Leaf loss! After an early-season game in which Ottawa beat Toronto 3-0, Cherry and MacLean spent their entire post-game segment talking about all the good things the LEAFS did! It's that kind of thing that makes me like the Leafs even less! And those other things make me like the Habs even more! So, youre saying it's okay for the broadcasters to favour a team if their offices are located are located in that team's city? So, of course, it would be okay if the CBC offices were located in Montreal and the broadcasters were as biased for the Habs as they are for Leafs, right? By the way, Dick Irvin was a pretty good announcer! I listened to him do Habs games countless times, and he rarely if ever mentioned his Dad, only when the situation required him to do so. As for mentioning the old days, ALL the long-time broadcasters do that from time to time, including Rick Jeanerret! But then again, you're the same guy who said the Habs send people into the other team's dressing room in the middle of the night, measuring hockey sticks! I still chuckle when I think about those comments by you!

I'm none of those things....just stating a few facts! Let's take a look at the words "fan" and "hater". A "fan" is somebody who supports their team(regardless of team or sport), you know, cheers them on and is for the most part positive! Some may go overboard with their suppoert at times, but alot of times it's because they are passionate about their team! A "hater", on the other hand, is someone who is a bitter, negative person who is probably pissed off at the world most days! They are pretty much jealous at other people's success because most of them have never went anywhere in life! So you tell me, what's worse, being a "fan" or a "hater"? I have a feeling I already know how you're gonna answer this!

Pretty much all diet drinks have zero calories! I eat alot of fast food, but I also drink diet drinks! You wouldn't believe the calories in regular drinks! I drink maybe a couple regular drinks a week! I think the main reason I don't get all that fat is not only the diet drinks, but I also work out and I walk whenever I can when going somewhere! I go for at least one walk a day!

I can't think of anything that has to do with "roll me around", but Bob Seger has a song called "Roll me away"! I case you're wondering....yes, I DID listen to alot of music when I was young! 80's(in my opinion) were the best!
