| The 2011 8th Grade Black Team finished up their spring season this weekend by going 3-1 at the CT Cobra's tournament at Connecticut College. The girls played in 7 tournaments this year and finished the season 17-12, playing the best teams in RI, MA, CT & NH. While we were usually the smallest team in our division the girls effort, hustle and attitude was tremendous throughout the season, not only duing tournaments but at our practices and scrimmages. Every player improved their game during the season and I'm sure all of them will be playing for their high schools next year.
I would like to thank all of the parents for making coaching their kids enjoyble this year. I know it is not easy getting them to all of the games and practices. We had a great commitment from all of the families this season. I would especially like to thank Coach Perry and the parents that kept the scorebook for us this season. Their help allowed us to post accurate stats for the girls on the website.
Lastly, a shout out to Coach Silva for running a great organization that allows us to practice in nice gyms and play in the best tournaments against the best competition.
I hope to see everyone at the Cyclones Cookout in July!!!!
