| Black beats Red
In the first game of the 2013 season got off to a high scoring td for td first half. For team black dani J (big play DJ) did just that, scoring 2 touch downs thrown by black qb T-rock. Dylan aka animal scored the 3rd touchdown of the half for black. Red came out firing from all cylinders. Chris Zeer was throwing deep ball after deep ball and his huge receiving core of Timmy Acho and Stefan kalabat (snake) were out jumping blacks DB's and coming down with the ball. red also scored 3 touchdowns in the first half and converted 1 extra point putting them up 1 to start the second half. The second half was a completely different style game. Black was able to hold red to 0 points in the second half. Lead by team coach and quarterback T-rock came out in the second half and picked off Chris zeer on the second play. this gave black a short field and an easy td scored by Ocho Acho (tieing dylan putrus in td's for the season). All in all we have to give the player of the game to T-rock for being 41 years old, sexy as hell and stepping up for his team playing both ways due to injuries.
Blue beats White
In the second game as i like to call the "prime time game" we had a whole lot confusion out there. We had A.T (the veteran) wearing blue for the first time in God only knows how many years. Jordan rushing agains Joe Jonna instead of catching passes and blocking for him. Everything about this game seemed totally screwed up. Now lets talk about the game. Justin orow looked great behind center for blue. After playing receiver for green last year Justin was itching to get back at qb and he definately showed why. Mike sesi was called "slow as dirt" all game long by teammate Jordan "showtime" Rassam, but that didnt stop him from mossing every player on the field! Anthony Toma at center made some big catches for blue. Blue does have a first year coach, but veterans like Anthony Toma, Jordan Rassam and Mike Sesi could and should help Justin take this team very far. Team White coach Joe jonna make a big splash on draft day trading away his first two picks to Green for "Superman" Andrew Shango. Joe jonnas decision to trade up was questioned by a lot of people in the league (myself included), but after watching yesterdays game and performance by "superman" i am a believer. i only pray T-rock doesnt trade me for him. Joey's team has all new and young faces on it, but Joe's a winner and I'm sure he will figure out how to win with these guys, otherwise he will just lose and losing isnt fun so i think he will try to win. Shango scored 2 touchdowns for white and looked like he couldnt be stopped, but it wasnt enough to stop Justin orow and the veteran crew of blue. Its will be interesting to see how a young white team will be able to bounce back next week. Player of the game will go to Justin orow for winning his first game as a coach.
Green beats Yellow
alright so this game was pretty freakin boring. i think there was 1 touchdown scored in the whole game. A lot of questions going into this game. Is shuck gonna play well at qb? is nolan going to take a shower? will nate throw pat k the ball? will sean mattia be rusty? Will Ray Dawood show up? Is AY 110 lbs? Does Tony still got it? is Brett still fast? Was sean gonna knock out the new kid dillon? Well i dont think all those questions can be answered after 1 game, but then again when shuck is on the field anything is possible. No, seriously anything is possible. Tony some how mossed someone like he was 22 again. Shuck was throwing the ball, im not gonna say well, but he definately threw the ball. Nolan did not take a shower. Sean did not knock out anybody. AY is not 110 lbs. Brett is fast, but ugly. Nate still can't throw the ball. Pat k did catch 1 pass, i think. At the end of the day, shuck got his coach a win for week 1. It wasnt pretty, but when you have derek rabban starting both ways its never pretty. ( lol i had to D, love you). Sean didnt look too rusty in the game and thats a plus for team green. Anthony Yaldo played great for green, scoring 2 td's. Anthony Yaldo also go laid the F**k out by yellow lineman and my cbl teammate matt shango. AY bounced right up and took it like a man and thats what cfl is all about!
All in all week 1 was definately a success. It was great getting out there and seeing everyone again. Welcome all the new young and old guys into the league. Dont take it for granted, this is the best league in the world and everyone of us are lucky to be in it. The CFL FAMILY is growing and its great. Everyone please remember to bring your team fee next week or you wont be able to play. Go Black!!
next weeks lines will be in by wednsday. T-rock is taking all bets for the year.
