| Please see below regarding agreed upon rules:
PLAYERS
AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME EACH TEAM MUST DESIGNATE ITS CAPTAINS, one for the offense and one for the defense. Captains’ act as sole representatives of their team in all communications with the officials, no other players may question the officials.
We have never truly enforced this rule, but after today, everyone is on notice.
There's no need to put anyone on blast - you know who you are and if you violate this rule.
Plainly, the refs do not give up their Sunday mornings to listen to you yell at them on every play or shout "f*ck you, you're a bitch and go f*ck yourself". This has gotten out of hand and the CFL will no longer have it.
The refs are not beneath anyone in this league and will be treated with respect. They are also human and they miss calls. Last I checked, NFL refs miss calls. Your captain will now have to state your case for you.
Try working a ref the old fashioned way and maybe they will find a make up call later in the game. We will treat this league and our refs with class and if that's not something you can comply with, be ready for a personal foul, unsportsmanlike conduct or an ejection. If that doesn't work, you might have to find another league.

| While I agree with Derek 100%, I think the scope of the respect we have on the field needs to extend to everything, from the refs, to the visitors at the field and especially to one another. I think the respect, or lack of respect, for one another is at an all time high and it's pretty embarrassing. We have women, children and random citizens at the field Sunday mornings and it's amazing how many "fuck you's" "you fucking suck" "you're a piece of shit" "You're a bitch," etc. are launched Sunday mornings. The refs are grown men with families, sure they get paid to be there but it’s not exactly a six figure salary with benefits, they are out there in part because they enjoy the camaraderie just as much as we do, respect them. Me and Tony have been yapping for more than 13 years now and I don't think we've ever once got to a point where we sincerely and truly disrespected one another. We didn’t know each other coming into the league either it’s just a mutual, natural respect. We help each other up after plays, we complement one another when the other gets the best of battle and we always have a certain level of respect as men. The childish, immature and disrespectful antics need to stop, it's embarrassing to yourself and the league.
On that note, I know I lost my cool for a minute yesterday and while I feel like my reaction was warranted the incident leading up to it should never happen, ever. There is a level of camaraderie, competition and fun that is unrivaled by any other league we have, but lately there has also been an unprecedented number of dirty, malicious, intentional plays that risk serious injury to one another and that's not acceptable. I love physical play as much as anybody, since I've entered the league I've welcomed all CLEAN physical contact but when I'm trailing a play by 20 yards without any involvement in what's going on in the play other than watching a foot race between Shango and AY and I get blindsided by a guy running full speed and having a 50 lb weight advantage that's pure garbage. I have a wife, kids and career off the field and I realize I step on the field taking some risk of injury just by playing but there is a very defined line between good, clean, physical play and garbage malicious shots. When my jaw was broken on a clean, but vicious, hit in the middle of a play I had no problem with it, that was expected with the known risks. But when I wake up and go to work today with a black eye and a gash over it because somebody felt like it was their opportunity to get an illegal, dirty, uninhibited running shot on me that's not an anticipated risk I sign up for each fall.
I'm not telling you guys to stop playing balls out and physical, I'm telling you guys there is a lack of respect in this league today that is unacceptable, we're all adults, we all need to have respect for one another on the field and appreciate one another's need to live off of it. The decision makers in the league need to step up, people should be ejected, suspended and, if a person really can’t learn to respect the league, players and refs, perhaps kicked out of the league. Something must be done.

| Guys I'm sorry that I haven't been at every single game every week this year. I know some of you need DADDY there and since Mike Zeer left you've been leaning on me and I haven't been there enough.
I take the blame for all the garbage going on in the league these past couple of years. I can name names and point out the incidents but I'm not going to do that. You are children and your actions have proven it. Your head is too big and you need to learn a little humility. I am willing and able to help you, even though you don't deserve 2 seconds of my time.
Starting today Monday the 16th of September, you become men, if not by choice by force. If you continue to act like children, we will start a kids league for 18 and older. The women's league is going strong and I'm sure the CKFL 8 and up will do very well too.
It's not just one guy and it's not just new guys that don't know how to act. So if you are on the field and not catching a ball, pulling a flag or scoring a touchdown and everyone on the sidelines can't believe their eyes and ears and they are looking at you, then we have a problem.
Yeah the old ass man is going to start sitting people down and washing mouths out with soap. I understand you think you are a grown ass man and no one talks to you like that blah blah blah blah blah. If you don't act like a man I'm not going to treat you like a man.
Can I get a dollar? You got any loose change? Help a brotha out!
The league doesn't need you. So don't kid yourself KIDS. The CFL will go on without you and will grow without you.
Any more bullshit and people are going to thrown out of the league and blacklisted for life.
I've seen and heard enough.
To all the guys reading this that have been an absolute god send to the CFL, I'm sorry. A few bad apples are not going to spoil this bunch. I will hand pluck the bad apples and make sure they are not allow to be within 5 miles of West Bloomfield High School Sunday mornings between 8 am and 12 Noon.
Don't blame other or take stuff out on other fir stuff you can't control in your life. If your life sucks too bad for you.
No names no looking back. Everyone has a clean slate because it was only today Monday Sept. 16th that you became a man. So from here on out act like one or be a lonely child. You won't be playing in the CFL for very much longer.

| Very well put Derek D, Joey, and AT. You guys are a true representation of class and the young bucks, and not so young bucks need to open their eyes and learn from you guys.
It seems as though our league is welcoming more and more douche bags as the years go by. I don't care how good you are in this league, YOU STILL AIN'T SHIT!!! This isn't the NFL. You PAY to play, not the other way around. Show some respect to eachother. This is a brotherhood. It's not a time to show off and see who can drop the most F bombs. I love you all even though I wouldn't mind bitch slapping a few of you :). PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

To save the ego of these jerabs we must blame the refs. You must debate with the refs like its the United Nations. After all, refs always change their minds. (sarcasm)
