| Attention 10u Baseball Players!!!
We will be holding an open tryout for several open spots on the 10u Cyclones’ Spring roster. The tryout will be held from 10am - noon on Saturday, 11/9 at the Brushy Creek Sports Complex on field #2. Please arrive a few minutes early so players can warm up prior to the start of the tryout.
We are a new select team, but we have a core group of players and coaches that have been together for multiple seasons. We have had great success in rec-ball and held our own in multiple tournaments put on by various organizations.
The Cyclones’ Spring season will officially start on 2/1/14 and will run through the end of June. We plan to play in 8 local (no more than 1-hour drive) tournaments beginning in early March and we will do our best to schedule tournaments so that we do not play on back-to-back weekends very often (if at all).
We will typically hold 2 practices per week and practices will be a combination of on-field practices and batting practices at an indoor facility.
Players who commit to the team are expected to make every effort to attend all games and practices. Our goal is to build a program that challenges our players but does not burn them out by playing an excessive number of games/tournaments.
Final pricing will be determined based upon the number of players invited to join the team (total roster will not exceed 12 players), but our expectation is that the total cost per player will be around $500.
Players should bring their own equipment and should come dressed for baseball (baseball pants, cleats, hat, etc.).

| The weather has been wreaking havoc with the CPYL End of Season Tournament, but as of this morning the tournament should be wrapped up by Friday night. With that in mind, we are going to stick to our original plan and have our tryout on Saturday, 11/9 from 10-noon at Brushy Creek Sports Park.

| We are still on for our tryout Saturday, 11/9 from 10am - noon. If you are interested in having your son try out for the team but can't make it on Saturday, please contact us and we will try to make alternate arrangements for you.
