| Black v. Red: AT AT AT, what were you thinking?!?!?!?!?!? In what was the only competitive game of the day, one critical mistake by team captain Anthony Toma sealed Red's fate. I think that pass to Mazen in last year's Chai Cup got to his head and he thought every prayer he throws up will get answered. Maybe it would have worked out better if Derek Bahri was the defender instead of Peter Urlacher Namou. In a sign of things to come, Emilio came out of the gates like a game changer and could be the sleeper pick of the year. Rumor has it Chris Zeer missed the game because he sneezed. In his absence, Chuck's noodle arm failed to throw a pass beyond 4.5 yards and after Anthony Acho replaced him he was just as inadequate. In a surprisingly tame first game, neither T Rock nor Jordan were caught mother$$$$ing one another or anybody else on black, kudos to you two for growing up after 27 years. Ultimately, black made the critical plays to win the game and started the season with a solid victory. Poor Stefan. Max's bid for Most Overrated Player has officially begun.
Yellow v. Nobody.
That's what it seemed like. They were simply out played. Nate looked like a 2005 version of Nate while Tony put poor Mike Hakim, all 160 lbs of him, in a position to get pulverized by Matt Shango all day while Nate ran wild. Sean Mattia looked like a chicken running around all day at quarterback. Mike Sesi was the man, everybody give him a round of applause for taking advantage of the CFL's D league team. Despite the awful start to their season, there is some positive news this week...Derek D managed to raise enough money for their jerseys in just 3 days and help is on the way as Tony Attisha made the blockbuster move of acquiring Derek Bahri....teeeeeettttt.
White v. Blue. The only thing that made blue's performance forgettable was everybody focusing on how pathetic green was the game before. Justin Orow looked tentative in his first action since the Chai Cup injury and blue as a whole looked lost entirely. As if his offensive performance wasn't bad enough, Justin Orow skipped the post game press conference because he didn't want to answer questions about how Andrew Shango made their matchup look like Andrew versus my five year old son Jonah. Mike Sesi and Jordan went to bed last night smiling. Does anybody know where Timmy Acho was yesterday? I thought I saw him for about three plays (all of which he was ineffective for) and then he got juked Barry Sanders v. Rod Woodson style by a 32 year old has been receiver and he hasn't been heard from or seen since. JO, good move trading Dylan for Jordan, Dylan made a big difference yesterday. Overall, not much can be said other than White looked dominant yesterday, from the Joey Jonna - Shango connection to the Aws and Najor line, blue had no answers. Ray thank you for playing center.

| I fucked up and will clean it up. Black still won. A win is a win. 3 teams got a win and e got a lose. On to week 2.
See you all Sunday. Great first week by the rookie on Black. That pick in the 7th round made Black a legit team. Without him they would be like Green with a QB.
