| IMPORTANT REMINDER If you do not hole you ball on any green you must take your maximum score. It really does not matter if you are on the edge of the cup or not, unless your ball is putted in, it’s not good. We have had a few cases where someone thinks their ball is good because it’s on the edge of the cup, THERE ARE NO GIMMIES PERIOD. I personally had left a putt on the edge of the hole and not thinking knocked it away out of frustration and unfortunately had to hit two more putts to get a score and it costs me $12. It is not fair to all golfers if some think they can take a gimmie because they believe we are not on the tour and it’s ridiculous to hole a putt on the edge of a cup. Please, I know we are not playing for large amounts of money but it’s not fair to all players if some people think they do not need to follow our rules. Do not put your fellow players into a position of calling you on not holing out on a hole, it is your problem not theirs. Many of our matches won/lost are determined by one stroke. Thank
