| The first two weeks of our fantasy season started off with a bang as the Amish Mafia scored a week one high and season high 179 points. At least that is what it is recorded as now. As many of you may know, many of the scores from week one were jumped up and down in week one so weekly places could have changed a bit here and there. Trust me, not a day has gone by without Aaron it out complaining to me about how her score changed. If they had changed her score for the better, it would have made my life a lot easier.
Week 2 wasn't as good to Amish Mafia as week one was. After week one the Mafia had a 37 point lead over second place. While the 108 points in week 2 was enough for them to hold onto first place, that lead has dwindled to a measly 13 points as Show me your TD's came out of 12th place to score 155 points and take over 2nd from Dunc's Dog pound.
Week 2 was definitely the week of the injury as 14 of our 26 teams was hit by the injury bug. Big scores were definitely affected When Charles and Green went down. I feel bad for everyone who was affected by this, including myself, but I feel especially bad for Football Master who had both Charles and Green. But then again, if he is really a football master, he should have seen this coming. I don't feel bad for those who took Peterson and Prater. We knew in plenty of time that they were going to score a big fat ZERO.
From week one to week two, our bank showed some major movement. While Amish Mafia held on to first place overall and the high game, Dunc's Dog Pound went from a $300 prize to $40 when they dropped from 2nd to 7th place, relinquishing the $300 spot to Show me your TD's. While Dunc's took a major hit, at least they stayed in the money. We can't say the same for BigBen7, Whiskey Girl, or Wrinkly Clinton Dicks as all three dropped clear out of the money. Ben7 relinquished his $160 to Lollygaggers who jumped from 7th in week 1 to 3rd in week 2. Whiskey girl threw her $100 5th place away and Wrinkly his $60 6th place. Qtrain and HuskerHawks will share the money for 5th and 6th place as they finished tied. Each has $80 in their account. Besides Amish Mafia, the only other team to hold their position was Purple Raiders who are holding tight to the $120 offered in 4th place.
I'm sure we all have looked at our teams and thought about what we "Should have done", or "What might have been". Here is what nobody in our group did in week 2. You should have taken Aaron Rodgers (31), Jay Cutler (25) Darren Sproles (23), Bernard (22), Nelson (26), Brandon Marshall (22), Antonio Gates (27), Dan Carpenter (17), and New England Defense (28). This team would have cost you 48.1 and scored 221 points. Please notice that Adrian Peterson and Matt Prater are not on this list.
I hope everyone has a terrible fantasy week in week 3. Just to help you out a bit, RGIII, Peterson, Charles, AJ Green, Josh Gordon, Moreno, and Prater are all good picks this week. Load up on them.
