Ball is caught by left field and he tries to get runner at 1st . Throw goes over first baseman and out of play . Where does runner go !! I said stays at first due to not tagging up ! Please advise
	neal June 18, 2015 4:08:04 PM Entry #: 4170478	Regardless of who made the throw, 2 bases are always awarded from the last base touched at the time of the thrown ball was releases. So in this situation the runner gets 3rd base. Note though, The runner must return to first base and tag up. touch second then third base. The runner may do this even though the ball is dead (out of play)
