| Fun week 2 because we won. Last week sucked.
Game 1
White (0-2) and Yellow (2-0) 14-28 Yellow wins
Joey K remembered the flags this week but forgot how to win. He sucked t up with a very serious groin injury but still came up short. Timmy Acho showed huge improvement at QB (needs to clean up the interceptions in the red zone) but still has a long way to go if he wants to end the season with a winning record. Brandon Shafou showed some serious football skills making a handful of catches. Scotty Acho came through with a TD catch to help keep the score close but in the end Yellow prevailed. Yellow threw a little too much of George Sharak at them. George was there on both offense and defense (big INT in the redzone). Nate had his usual great game on both sides of the ball (yelling at Timmy "not on my side bro"). Mr. Shango (no not that Shango the other one) showed us his TD end zone dive and celebration after his TD. Matt's Dancing with the Stars debut is scheduled to air the night of the CHY CUP.
Game 2
Red (1-1) and Green (0-2) 20-14 Red wins
Red lead by AA scored 3 TDs in the first half and never looked back. Tony Attisha was his usual little bitchy self. The guy hates to lose and I love to see him lose to Team Red. Granted his is very undermanned and is doing his best, but no one feels sorry for you in this league. AA looked unstoppable in the first half but didn't look as good trying to play a form of bend but don't break offense. Green mounted a little bit of a comeback to give Red a little scare but Jordan Rassam put Green's last drive to bed and maybe their season. No team could come back from a 7 (team Green) vs 1 (Jordan) on the last drive. Second down Matti back to pass and the ball is batted down by Jordan Rassam. Third down Matti back to pass and the ball is batted 20 feet in the air and Matti makes a great defensive play to break up an INT by Jordan Rassam. Forth down Matti back to pass and he gets sacked by Jordan Rassam. Game over! Jordan Rabban still feels like he is the better of the 2 Jordans hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Game 3
Black (2-0) and Blue (1-1) 26-19 Black wins
Tarik came to play. The game was tied at halftime and Derek Putrus had a lot to do with that. He got the best of his little big brother. Derek caught and ran for about 200 yards as his kids yelled Daddy from the parking lot. Too much Tarik. I didn't see the second half so feel free to chime in with who did what and how much fun it was for Black. I did see Danny Shaba run in a middle screen though.
Long way to go but it looks like Black is the clear favorite to win it all.
