| Game 1 Red 20 vs Blue 12
Blue won the toss and Coach Toma (me) of Red said "We'll take the ball". The said "no Blue won the toss, Karl what do you want to do?" Anthony (me again) repeated "We'll take the ball" everyone looked at me like I was crazy and Karl thought I was up to something and said "We want the ball" even though Justin instructed him to defer until the second half.
So Blue started with the ball and on the first play from scrimmage Blue passed the ball and Lance "took the ball" to the house for a pick 6. Karl was traded a little later that day.
When I tell you that "we'll take the ball" you better believe me.
The next drive we shut Blue down again and then Anthony Acho put together a masterful drive for another touch down and Red led 14 nothing. Later that day Jordan Rabban graced us all with his presents. He just got traded too but to Blue for Niko. More about Miko in game 2. So Blue cane storming back and made a game of it. The score was 14-12 when Justin Orow proclaimed that Red had nothing. I said we have 14 and on the very next play AA dumped the ball to Jordan Rassam and I asked him to take it to the house so he did. I whispered to Kyle Mio that we now had 20. That is the way the game ended 20 to 12 after Justin and Peter N got into a little wrestling match. Peter won that too, so Justin threw a plastic cup in Peter's face. Peter didn't care cause he won and the water in the cup was refreshing.
Game 2 Black 26 vs Yellow 32
Nate decided early on that he was going to run run run and throw a bunch of interceptions. The formula worked because they ended up with a thrilling double OT win over Black. Nick Hermiz sat this one out with a strained pussy but his mouth was working fine. At first I thought he loaded up on coffee before the game but later found out he was in that part of his cycle (not his Harley) that makes you speak nonsense for hours. Anyway there were some pretty great plays made by both sides in this one. Nate threw some dimes to Mike Sesi and the other Sesi not related was blocking and caught and ran for maybe 200 yards total. Chris Sesi got his first win of the season. If Black would have won they would have been in first place but that honor belongs to Red. The game seemed like it was over before Tarik threw a line shot bullet to Derek Rabban. Derek boxed out Vinnie Kejbou out and caught the ball to force overtime. Ernest Yeldo made Moss catch after Moss catch. He was the best player on the field even though he was drafted in the 8th round. Tarik likes to yell at him so much that he turned down an offer from Green for Sean Mattia for Ernest. Great game and great finish.
Game 3 Green 20 vs White 12
Tony Attisha made some moves to give his team a huge boost and makeover during the week. He picked up Nick Kizy to back up Sean Mattia at the QB spot and Marcus Sheker who recently figured out how to catch and run. He provides great protection and extra time for the QB to find his targets down field. Sean looked great in this one hitting players all over the field, namely Niko Jonna. He caught 6 or 7 balls in traffic and scored a couple TDs. Timmy football wasn't as fortunate nor did he look as good as he did last week vs Black. It seems black has more holes than we thought. Tony on a losing streak made it back for the game from San Diego but unfortunately for White Joey Kejbou on a high from last week's win couldn't make it back in time from Vegas. to help his squad.
Great week all in all because we won and we have a tight race all the way down to last place.
