| I remember when I first joined the league this website used to be something to look forward to. Where’s Derek D?? Anyways, here’s the mid-season report cards and awards. Feel free to leave a comment or something…try not to take this too serious sissy boys.
TEAM GRADES
Team Yellow: B+
Once again Mr. Karumi has his team in position to compete for the all mighty Chy Cup. Nate has been great all year, proving that he’s more than just a gazelle wearing a piss yellow shirt. He’s continuously shown the ability to hurt teams with his arm and legs. I’m almost positive in the week against white he showed up with a completion percentage close to 99.99%, ripping us apart in the air. For all those who think this guy’s one dimensional you’re kidding yourself. What yellow has done this season is even more impressive given the fact that they’ve played most of the season without their horse Nick Mohawk Hermiz, and all around utility guy in Chris Sesi. Mike Sesi is having a bit of a down year on the field but his shit talking is at a premium right now. His goal at the beginning of the year was to let the world know that Sean SM23 Mattia is not a quarterback (Don’t agree with him btw) and I’m pretty sure all his yapping from the sidelines finally sunk in with Tony. I’m 100% convinced this is why Tony traded him to black. Good job MS, you got mind control over Debow.
Team Black: B-
Tarik has his team in position to make another deep playoff run this season. It looks as if the moves he made at the deadline will be for the best based on last week’s performance. They looked very sharp and continue to improve from week to week. Karl Shuck Dallou is back where he belongs with T-Rock, and we all are better people for it. Your conversations are my favorite thing about Sundays. I’m not sure what the CFL is going to look like post “Ya Shuck, you suck” but I don’t want to find out. Oh yea, Max is a beast at wide-out, what took you so long to put him there? Guys been on a terror all season long and is the biggest reason Black is in the position they’re in now.
Team Blue: D
My oh my how the wheels have fallen off for this team. After several trades made at the deadline, which were bullshit by the way, Blue looked like the clear favorite for the 4th seed. But as they say games aren’t won on paper. Blue had themselves a rough game last week (putting that lightly) and seem to be in a lot of trouble given the fact that they’re missing newly acquired Derek Rabban next week. I’m not quite sure what the problem is with these guys, they have as good a roster as anyone in the league but they just can’t seem to get it going. Let’s see if Justin and Company can pull it together and try to make a run the second half of the season.
Team Red: A-
This squad has been the surprise of the year. Year in and year out they consistently put out a quality team but always fell right on their faces. Not this year. This year the core of Lance Samona, Showstopper, Ant Acho, and AT have these boys in the top seed looking to breeze their way into that Chy Cup game. Mazen and the rookie Ricky Naimi have been great on the outside all season and Peter Namou continues to show why he’s one of the top defensive players we have in this league. I don’t know if there’s a team out there that can stand in their way. They are the clear favorites going forward.
Team White: A++++
We are sweet, you all suck. We got off to a rough start but we’re rolling now…yes I know we only have 2 wins, yes I know we have a rookie quarterback, yes I know we were out of the playoffs as of last week but suck it! Timmy for ROY (1st time QB), Joey K for MVP, Shango you’re the man, JP for best beard (Sorry Hawk). Good luck stopping us in the second half of the season.
MID-SEASON AWARDS
MVP: Anthony Acho
Yes, I'm choosing my brother as MVP. No, it's not because he's my brother. Yes, I know you're all talking shit in your head. No, I don't care. Quarterback of the #1 team in the land, seems pretty logical no?
AP Offensive Player of the Year: Max Shecker
Max has been playing great all year. I don’t have the official stats (Where’s Derek D!) but from the eye test it seems like he’s leading the league in all offensive categories (YACs, TD’s, Receiving Yards, Mosses). Max you’re a beast, keep killin it….Pussy.
AP Defensive Player of the Year: Lance Samona
Lance has been all over the field causing havoc this year. Again, no official stats but I’m pretty sure he leads the league in picks. It seems like every time his team needed a lift he was there to answer.
AP Rookie of the Year: Debatable
This has been tough to gage. I think we added some solid players but no one has stood out as being head and shoulders above the rest so we have the second half of the season to evaluate this.
AP Coach of the Year: Anthony Toma
Another Red player winning an award makes me wanna throw up but AT has his team in position to have Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs. He’s made all the right moves and has pushed all the right buttons, including benching half his offense for being late against White. Guy just doesn’t care who you are, show up on time or sit your ass on the bench. Gotta love that.
AP Assistant Coach of the Year: Joey Jonna
Shout out to Joey Jonna for being the true professional that he is. League isn’t the same without you but we appreciate you showing up for us every week and helping when you can. Not to mention Mike Sesi wanted me to thank you for bringing your little ones with you because it gives him an opportunity to play with them on the sideline to show off for the brats (when they show up) that he’s such a good guy and would be a great dad someday. Ha MS I see you out there!
AP Comeback Player of the Year: Ernest Yaldo
Big Worm has come back from the dead and is having himself a very good year playing well above a 9th round draft pick. He’s turned back the clock on a few spectacular catches, and was sooooo close to having a game tying TD against White but couldn’t hang on. If he made that catch I might have elevated him to MVP status lollll….Sorry Ernie, I had to drop this in here! We all know that was a little early on the contact lol )
AP He’s still “Got it” Award: Joey “Turn Back the Clock” Kejbou
Big Joey K had himself a monsterrrr game the other day against Blue and I just wanted to acknowledge that he’s the man for carrying us to that win. My awards…my rules.
Chaldeanfootball.com Fantasy player of the Year: Nate Karumi
Nate, as usual, is currently sitting in the number one spot in terms of total fantasy points and has lived up to his number 1 draft pick. How long can he hold off Max for that spot we will have to wait and see. We should seriously consider doing a fantasy league…Where’s Derek D??
Well there you have it, a little over half the season in the books every team is still in contention for a playoff spot. Good luck to everyone out there, stay healthy and have fun.

Team Green: D-
Yea, not Green's best year but you gotta respect a team that comes out and plays as hard as they do each week. Losing AY has crippled this team but who knows, maybe Tony can pull a rabbit out the hat for the second half of the season.

| "A bit of a down year"...to that I respond with "theseeee nuts"...we're the best. Yellow should have an A+++ just like the football machine we call Team White lol. We lost one game to over rated team Red where we were storming back from down 21-0. I won't forget this Scotty. This is ignorant foolishness.
Anthony Acho haaah?! Lance Samona is the reason Red is where they are, with his infinite quiet wisdom calming these reckless loud animals on his team...we're coming for you Red. We're coming. Nolan is coming.
Remember when Max wasn't playing WR...defense used to be so much easier.
And regarding SM23 and his fall from QB1 to QB-none...I absolutely claim full responsibility. My next goal is to get T-Rock to play Sean at center or O-Line, the only positions that I see him fitting very well at.
Nick Hermiz, if you are reading this, we all miss seeing you in shorts and a tight yellow shirt. I hope your inner thighs heal soon.

| Yes Yellow is the best team in the league, according to the stands LOL! You can't hit what you can't see. Mike Yaldo or whatever your name is... Your team has nothing on us. You came storming back because we knocked you the fuck out and we let our guard down. You came storming back because we quit. we smashed you to pieces and we didn't let you come all the way back. We go the wake up call and decided we need to start throwing punches and knocked you out for good. Nolan coming back is nothing to get excited about. I don't think any team Nolan has been on in the past 3 or 4 years has won more than 2 games in a season. If I'm wrong please let me know. He has already won 1 so unless you don't plan on making the playoffs history would suit you to let us win this one.
Have a good week jacking each other off talking about how you are going to beat us. None of you in your heart of hearts actually believe it, the way you can tell is when you or one of your teammates says shit like " we are better than them and we almost came back and beat them last time" or "we got Nolan back and the swelling on Hawk's pussy puff injection has gone down so we got these guys" just say this word in the form of a question "Really?" and if they don't laugh and say "nah" then you might have a chance. I bet none of them can keep a straight face after that shit comes out of the mouth.
