| I hope White 21 reconsiders retirement and decides to give it another 3 years, but if he doesn't...
It's a huge loss for the CFL. I was lucky to have 8 seasons together with him, starting from his rookie year. Joey evolved from a talented (and slightly overconfident) rookie, to an unstoppable superstar, to savvy veteran. Most players do not remember when he was at his best, but it was not a typical superstar role. While he always wanted the ball and he was never afraid to let me know when I wasn't performing, he ALWAYS put the team first. If it made more sense to be a decoy, that's what he did. And he did it on his own without anyone having to ask. It was just understood because he understood the league and he understood what it took to win. We had a 3 year stretch where we went 33-2 which I believe is and will continue be the best 3 year stretch in league history. His talent, leadership, and willingness to take on any role that the team needed was the reason for that.
I always busted his balls about the injuries, but the truth is that he is also one of the toughest players i've ever seen. He's been through some pretty horrific injuries including a broken jaw and torn groin. He never backed down from a hit no matter who was coming at him. Pretty impressive for a guy who's only 5'5" and 130 pounds.
It's never good for the league to lose someone of Joey's character- a veteran leader who plays the right way. But as this "changing of the guard" happens next year, i'd challenge all of the young guys to take a page out of Kejbou's book moving forward. Commit yourselves to the league, 100% and unconditionally, and the league will continue to be great.
Thanks again brother for a great career and for being the best teammate possible.

| Joey Kejbou A tenacious competitor with an ability to make plays left and right, a leader on and off the field, one of the biggest Mike Sesi haters that the world has ever seen, and an inspiration to all of us who have had the pleasure of playing against him. I just want to say that you will be missed, my friend...this league needs more players like you. I hope you occasionally grace us with you presence on the sideline on Sunday mornings so you can bitterly watch me score touchdowns and ask you how overrated I am. You went out on top man, White would not have gone that far without you doing your thing out there this year.
Thanks for not laying me out a few weeks ago when you had the shot at it (I owe you one).

| Thanks JoJo, Mike and Jordan.
Sucks to end it on that note, painful to do so but the time has come. I can't stick around and become Tony Attisha 2.0
Mike, you are officially not overrated in my book, and Sean has officially taken over the MOP label. And you are welcome I didn't take that shot on you, just remember that forever.
Been a fun run and can go on for days about the moments but I don't want to go Derek D on you guys.
That's a wrap.
Good luck Saturday Yellow and Red. At least Vinny can help keep a Kejbou on the cup.

| Well you couldn't have put on a better final performance. You sure went out with a bang. Great career all around. Great winning with you and losing with you, I always knew I got everything I was going to get out of you. No one ever got under your skin or in your head. It was a pleasure beating you when I did and most of the time you beat the dog shit out of me and my entire team with class. The worst was the time you had a wired jaw like Kanye and instead of banging Kim K you banged my whole team pratically single handed. Huge loss seeing you go but your reasoning on the Tony 2.0 says it all. Love you man on and off the field.

| From you picking me up across the street Sunday mornings back in the day to watch you, to playing against you now, it was always a honor. Definitely my idol to look up to on the field as you taught me everything I know. It's a honor to be called other Kejbou, little Kejbou, or even joeys little cousin on the field. Will forsure be missed and can't wait to see if I can carry on what you started.

| joe k, sad to see you walk away when I know you can still ball out. It's been an awesome experience competing against you. I never got to call you a teammate, but it's been an honor to have played in this league with guys like you. This league is a brotherhood and it's sad to see a class act like yourself hangin it up. Thanks for the memories. It's guys like you that make me love playing in this league so much. Let's keep this brotherhood going for many years to come. Out of respect for for guys like you and many others in the past we need to keep this brotherhood growing forever. Respect the game love the game. Love each other. Have fun. One family. #CFLLEGEND

| you were the guy who introduced me to the league, and stood up for me when i wanted to come back after quitting two years prior when a majority of the other captains didn't want to let me back in the league. so i probably would not be in this if it wasn't for you. you are the definition of a pure football player. fundamental, smart, and disciplined. huge blow for the league when someone who is dominating games like you have been the past 3 years decides to retire. hopefully i will see you on the field next year, if not great time playing with you and against you brother.

| Great competitor on the field and a class act. One of the smartest players on the field, wish I had the chance to play on one of your teams and pick your brain. But I still picked up on a few things from watching from the sidelines. You still got it so hopefully you pull a Brett Favre on us and give it another run!

| Joe, Cmon, be realistic. You have a MINIMUM of 3+ seasons left haha. I'm with all the other guys that replied. This league needs not only your skill, but your humble attitude as well as leadership, especially these newer young cats who think they should be playing pro ball or something lol. You are and have been a great role model for us all. We will all miss you if you decide to hang em up.
